jbl makes a room mode correction control monitor thats great on any speaker for 299.99 i own it listen to my mix on youtube derrick shorter but i heard these speaker 2day for the 1st time they are nice but cost to much in mississippi they are 1300.00 a piece
@vassillioss and of course you say that because you have tested many monitors and you are sure that the bass region being hyped is not due to room modes.so I`m sure you have a calibrated control room....ah?
aha i do the same thing after i mix down my tracks.. i compare the mix with crappy speakers.. if they sound alright on the crappy speakers and on the good speakers then i know i have a good mix... weird way of doing things but it's been helping
@Gtrplyr1 ......it`s not 80's series.....it`s the 82 series for sure! I have the ns10s plus the 8240 but I can`t tell from this camera position ....!so it`s either the 8240 or 8250...!
@hadon909 i believe you are right, he does mention that they are capable of being tuned to the room electronically.. I don't think the 80s do that stock...
@tissot233 good choice, any genelecs are good but if you want thumb I will go from the 8020B all the way up, the 8020B has a good bass for near field monitoring if you are more than a meter away I would recommend getting the Bass speaker that goes along with it and if you want 5.1 definitely get the set with the 8020B. Like I said all Genelec loudspeaker are ten times better than anything out there in the industry.

@hadon909 judging by the woofer size comparison of the Gen's with those NS10s id say it's the 8050
