How do you deal with your new growth while its coming out and you can't get it relaxed yet? God, your hair is beautiful. My hair doesn't even reach lower than my neck.

Just wear it out, that's what I did when my hair was Neck length. You can do a braid out if you want as well to get some waves in it.

What are you using to grease your scalp? make sure there's no mineral oil or petrolatum in it. Use natural oils i.e. evoo, coconut oil etc.

I never added water to the Wave Nouveau. I just poured it straight from the big blue bottle to the spray bottle. That's it.

After you moisturize, you don't have to add a plastic cap aka baggying. You can just style and go.

I moisturize and seal twice a day. I don't wrap my hair. I just clip my hair up, put on my satin scarf, remove the clip, then I put on my satin bonnet and go to sleep. I hope that makes sense.

As long as the product is water based and doesn't contain mineral oil or petrolatum/petroleum you should be fine. Use the coconut oil as a sealant.

I would not recommend pink lotion as a moisturizer because it contains ingredients that block moisture from getting into the hair.

To be honest I'm not familiar with it. If it has humectants in it and no mineral oil then it should be fine.

No, my scalp doesn't need anything, my ends do though. If I add things (oils etc.) without washing it out, I begin to shed.

moisturizing and sealing helps to prevent dryness all year 'round. sometimes the winter winds are very strong so you may need something a bit thicker like a creamy butter to lock in moisture into the hair.

The best thick moisturizer to use in the winter is QP Mango butter it is thick and creamy and it smells good. I would use that and I would seal my ends with CHI silk infusion your hair will feel like butter.

This is a great video! I usually moisturize all my hair, THEN seal all of it with coconut oil. But it's great to see how others do it as well. Your hair looks so healthy, fluffy and soft :) Can't wait to get to where you are.
