@deadmarshperformance Actually it wasn't. This song was written by Glenn Danzig and Danzig also wrote a song for Roy Orbison called "Life Fades Away" which appears on the same soundtrack. That's probably where the confusion comes from.

Hmm, in 1988 i had my left arm tattoed with a "Samhain-Skull".
Now, nearly 22 years later, i think, he is not the man, i thought he was in the late 70s and early 80s.
but still i think he is a guy, who did much for music. he still is a legend and an unforgettable singer.

@numberonemisfitsfan i was just recentley reading an interview where i guess the guy was surprised how appreciative glenn was to his fans during his shows lol. he was saying how glenn seemed very happy and friendly towards the crowd and that he put on a great show. i mean i guess because any light show on danzig in the press is how dark and angry he is makes everyone think he's an asshole, but even in his interviews he's laidback and cool he just doesn't like bullshit.

Listening to the last Samhain album, which was the transition album between Samhain and Danzig, I find this song very suprising...since it's more like the 50's era stuff he did later such as Blood and Tears/Cold Rain.

glenn should sit down with jerry cantrell and play blues. fuck, he could play blues standards and id be the first one up. id love to hear him do smokestack lightning or im a man or any muddy waters or howling wolf. id also love the shit out of some orbison or elvis covers. but no industrial / type o goth metal anymore please. danzig's strength i think is with more organic music backing him.
