I've never been a fan of his but he was good comedian from what I hear so R.I.P George Carlin and I hope he does well in the afterlife if anyone believes in that stuff!
Yeah, it seems like just yesterday I was walking up to the store for some beer for his HBO special, "It's Bad For Ya", later that night. I think I still have it on my DVR. If so, I'll have to watch it later.
I saw him in his last HBO special at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Fucking bus that went there got caught in traffic and I almost missed it; I got there literally a few minutes before the doors closed and the show started.
It seems like we all have little stories like that about George... We'll miss you, man. The world just won't be the same about you... :(
He is one of the greatest comdeians of all time and he also definded my childhood as well.

I saw him in the 4th row in Charleston WV. George was the man. Greatest comedian ever. If there is a god I'd love to see that conversation.
