I am currently studying a medical related degree and was previously pondering about working in Australia! As I have been offered a job in Australia upon qualifying! However it seems Australia is still living in the dark ages! When this happened, I was teaching in a school in London. I saw the BBC broadcast and it made me very very ashamed to be Australian. At the time I was teaching at a school which had 40% islamic students. I was devistated when students asked me honestly "Miss, I didn't think Australia was a racist country. Is it really like that?" Now I teach at Camden High and try my best to promote anti-racist behaviour and thoughts and promote racial acceptance. I hope I make a positive change.

When this happened, I was teaching in a school in London. I saw the BBC broadcast and it made me very very ashamed to be Australian. At the time I was teaching at a school which had 40% islamic students. I was devistated when students asked me honestly "Miss, I didn't think Australia was a racist country. Is it really like that?" Now I teach at Camden High and try my best to promote anti-racist behaviour and thoughts and promote racial acceptance. I hope I make a positive change.

The value of children and a mother at home come a distant second to getting women back into the workforce.
