dude this is not THAT fast, is slapping a bit fast with some natural rest mutes intercalated between the slapped and popped notes, it sounds fast but it's just thechnique, flea can do this with clean notes and not just mutes as victor wooten, and about the fingering, geddy lee can finger faster than this

Geddy for one does NOT pluck that fast, he does pretty fast but as I was going to say he's not even slapping, he was strumming with his thumb, which is way different than slapping. Flea Slaps and pops and does that thing and does NOT do this. In fact he wasn't even muting, you can hear the tones. From a bassists view yes, this is not as hard as it looks but is still hella hard, and yes, it IS that fast.
