8th Gen Civic Si's do some with the k20a3 STOCK. Unfortunately, it is a very underpowered and undertuned version of the K-series pushing under 200hp to the wheels. Keeping in mind the heavier weight of the car, it is a terrible combination.
This car running low boost would just barely be able to amount to the performance of a k20-swapped Eg Civic. The v8 takes the win fair and square. Good race!
The si is under 2,900 pounds. Sure it's heavy for a civic, but it still is a great car. Stock, it's not SUPER fast, but it is a pretty quick car if driven right. It's geared properly, and offers great handling stock.
With a 75 shot, the Si can run very high 13s on good tires. Still, not enough to beat the low low 13s of the SRT8, agreed, fair win.
