Ah.. I remember d/ling this from a BBS back in the early 90s. I loved it too, especially that opening piece. I remember showing it to a buddy and he wondered if you were supposed to sing to that opening part with the scrolling text.

Finally found these! The music brings back memories!

This is not gravis ultrasound, its soundblaster pro!! It's done by using a combination of the built in FM synth and a MOD tracker routine, It's a shame the technique wasn't used more often in other areas such as games.

CC Catch really came through on this. Amazingly so.

And, as stated, this was SB Pro. 8 bit with OPL2 worked fine.

This is the ONE reason why I still have the hardware from that era. This is the best music I know on PC. Wish I could express my thanks to the composer. Is this 22KHz or 44.1 ? It should be 44.1 if you still have a Gravis Ultrasound :)

Maybe I'm just imagining it... but I was listening to Darude's "Dreams" from the "Label This!" album and it brought back memories of this demo. The biggest similarity seems to start at the 1:20 mark in Dreams. Does anyone else hear a connection?

just listening to music...I was here 6 month ago. and now find again this great demo. :D very good memories...today's young people don't knows what was amiga/pc demos...and gravis ultrasound. :) ...and demo party's. we who knows "old" people now. (30-35 years old)
