Yes you can, the bottom deal was invented by Fred Robinson (the greatest card magician to talk to about fakes shuffles)

If you're interested he teaches you techniques for a bottom deal as well as the centre deal in his book

Excuse me, but this is really not good if you are a willing magician and willing on to continuing in magic.

Why? Because the Bottom Deal technique opens up a GATE of many many MANY ( can't stress enough ) card effects that look like miracles.

If you go around showing people this, they would think you actually know how to do this, and you kill this process for yourself.

@pimpmymail thank you so freaking much. people don't seem to understand certain thing like this. when thing like the bottom deal and the second deal etc are refined and perfect a magician can almost do the impossible and make it appear as if he is actually using real magic. too many people want to take the shortcut and not put in the effort and elbow grease that being a good magician requires and it's getting rather sad really

Well you cant even do bottom deal because you cant hold the cards in right grip.

The bottom deal is invented by S.W. Erdnase and it can be found on his book - "Expert at the Card Table" With a big amount of practice bottom deal can be performed like your "top deal" . I think that you saw Jason England's bottom deal presentation and thought that it is trick but not really.

If you want to learn a nice bottom deal, buy ' the expert at the card table' and use the Erdnase Grip. You will actually be able to deal from the bottom after a shorter period of time then you think. To master this move it takes years but the mechanics take only a few months of practice and I found out that lay men don't even see that!

I used to do this trick but using the four aces on the bottom an the top cards were 10-J-Q-K of the suit of the bottom ace. So that way you end up with a Royal Flush. I also show all of the hands and pretend to have made a mistake but show the suprise ending. This trick I believe was first written up in Scarne Card Magic.
