Uli I dont have to even say how genious he is...but Klaus did a unbeatable singing here,i've saw a lot of this professional metal singers sing this song...even reaching the notes...sounds lame.I play and sing this song ...but it can be everithing right the notes et...doesnt sound half as good as scorpions is the reason they are where they are and i'm here LLOOL.
Man, it would bring tears to my eyes if I knew this was the last time I would hear this song. Think about it, when the scorps are gone and its the year 2030 and near everyone has forgotten about the scorpions and not have any of their music, a lot can happen in 2 decades and i will be DAMNED if I am going to let some nuclear holocaust or NWO government organization be responsible for the death of Rock n Roll PEOPLE LISTEN TO ME WE MUST ALL BUY AS MANY SCORPS ALBUMS AND TIME CAPULES AS POSSIBLE!
When Daniel Gildenlow of Pain of Salvation was asked in an interview,Would you rather play the perfect solo or have sex with the perfect woman,he said that the only man who can answer such question is uli jon roth because he has actually played ''the perfect solo'' in sails of charon....
Dark night, there is no light in the realm of the black magic man Soul's flight into the cold blight of the destroyer's magic land Poor man, whose spirits are stronger Blind man, you're sucking your own blood Soon black magic's dying, you'd better start crying Burn out your evil desire The dark angel's kingdom is built out of mire Keep out for the kingdom of light There is no darkness, there is no night
Man.Hail Scorpions for writing and performing this song but i think i like Malmsteen's version more.Well how wouldnt i,its the same riff with some of Yngwie's might in it.Who wouldnt like it.In any case the riff is insane. No wonder we prevailed in nature, having minds putting feelings into songs..
@Dash681 but you also have to take in mind that on pretty much all of his records, malmsteen noticed uli as an inspiration and when he copies him its like the most respect you can give someone...so it's not just a talent thing, but also a mental connection too (idk what im trying to say) but when he plays those songs he shows the utmost respect for someone too...but also he plays violin scales and if you like violin better then he's better but i like uli because his technique fits the song...
ya im going to see them july 11th here in memphis, TN...its going to be amazing! hopefully they play some songs from blackout-sting in the tail...like the 2 albums advertised as their tour name...because i like their stuff fly to the rainbow, lonesome crow, and In Trance, also Taken by force, but i also like crazy world and savage amusement...either way i am very excited
I cant believe scorpions are splitting! At least they are doing a last world tour! Hope Uli is going to play with them...like a suprise kind of thing! ( I know its just fantasy!)...
can any diehard scorpions fans help me? I love the vibe of this song and would love to find similar songs. Did the whole album have this sort of vibe or were there other songs from different albums.. I really love the music man!
This just may be their coolest song but thank God their are others that are just as good-Animal Magnatism-Lovedrive-Dynamite-China White-Is There Anybody There?....among the best!!!!
Best Scorpion days-truly the glory days.....its pretty hard to listen to the beautiful intensity of the guitar work (lead and rythmn) and Klaus' glorious vocals on this masterpiece then go listen to Tease Me, Please Me...
The greatest rock guitar lead ever recorded.Life is awesome. I met Uli at a club in Long Island,N.Y. in 2004 and he seemed like the coolest person in the world, just chillin' no attitude
I saw them live last summer, having uli jon roth, michael schenker and michael kottak as guests....I can assure you there's no comparison between michael-uli and matthias-rudolf.......the first are far better
@sirlordtom98 i think he's plenty famous, just not mainstream famous...and as long as you like him and respect his abilities and talents as a musician, then that's all that matters, not the fact that hes being headlined like miley cirus...
My favourite song from literally one of the first ever albums I really listened to (way back at the tender age of 7 or 8). This was got me into rock and metal. Air-guitar a-plenty.
Who else was brought to this song via GT 5?
