Got my phone about a week ago, and really love it to bits!

However, the battery always dies out on me before lunchtime. Even though it's already on battery saver mode, and everything else have been switched off.

If I serve the net, or miss just one call, it'll die out within an hour. Is it just my phone? I heard that 3GS, shortens the battery life. Is this true?? Pls help. I do love the phone, but I can't have the phone constantly plucked in to a socket when I'm out and about :*(

@Kbaucke001 Android phones don't currently allow for sending data via Bluetooth, just connecting for wireless headset operation. You will, however, find some android apps that provide a solution for this.

Hello Moto, My Flipout is running out of internal phone memory.. what shld i do?

I am using 8gb memory card, so all my songs and pics are there. But still loosing internal memory very fast. Can you please guide me how to restore the full internal memory.

@PunjabiPunchh What you can do is crack the bootloader, flash a custom recovery, partition your sd card using gparted or any other linux distribution and then flash a new rom with app2sd+, app2sd, or data2ext but i recommend app2sd+ because it moves the davik cache as well as the app. however data2ext will give you as much "internal" storage as you want but you will have trouble when ejecting the sd card. simple, right? hoped that answered your question.

@PunjabiPunchh Well the internal memory is relatively small on FLIPOUT(512mb) but most of this is available for your usage. If you have downloaded apps then they will be taking up this memory, also check that none of of your photos and music have been duplicated in this memory, and also look to delete unwanted texts, emails etc as this too can eat into internal memory. If you want to do a factory reset, you can do this by going to "privacy" within settings menu, and selecting factory reset.

@PunjabiPunchh correct, unless you have saved all your contact details to your sim card. You can do this pretty easily.

Hi I have this phone and totally love it but tried to download a pic from Facebook and it keeps popping up in the taskbar at the top saying it is queued and is paused then it disappears and then comes back again - driving me mad as I can't find any way to cancel it. This has been going for 3 days and is draining my battery and I'm scared it will also use up my data - help! Apart from this this is the best phone I have ever had. Highly recommmend to all!!!

@TheGuilfords Glad you are enjoying the phone. Sorry to hear the issue, we are scratching our heads a little. If you have your data saver manager on, that can sometimes interfere with downloading pics, so try turning that off. Failing that you may have to put a call into the Motorola Helpline or post a query in the support section of motorola website. Sorry not to be of more help directly on this one.

@chilich33z Not really sure what your rant is about, other than to troll. Anyway, if you lose your device you can remotely locate the device, and if needs be wipe the important contact information and other sensitive information remotely. You can then restore the information when you get your new phone, simply by re-entering your MOTOBLUR account. Equally you can clear history with your contacts on the device itself.

@motorola you can go into settings, select data manager and select certain options from there to minimise the data input. Naturally this will mean that certain services that motoblur and other operations of the smartphone delivers becomes intermittent or non-existent so it will be a trade off between function and data usage.
