Believe it or not I had this 8 track...yes 8 track. I thought these guys had some promise....but they just didn't pan out. I met them years ago and they're all down to earth, really nice people. I always liked this song and it's really rare to find this on YouTube or anywhere.

Bought this album in '79. All my friends said I was an idiot for buying it, and it sucked..!
Haven't thought of it in over 30 years, but, looking back, I can see they were right..!
This is the strongest song on it. Yes, they all have the hooks pop songs require, but there is no style here. Overdone lead vocals, overthought compositions and those silly saxophone solos in nearly every song..!

@Craigbe those "silly Sax solos" were done by Mark Rivera, Sax player for Billy Joel for the last 30+ years.

One hit wonder had lots of radio play, they came here in Vancouver Canada, one night only wasnt a big venue.

Key to making a lasting hit like this,... STRONG melodic sense, unabashed ANTHEM qualities, chorus vocals, and rocking musicianship. To me, it makes everyone want to just sing along, and it's catchy, so you can't forget it as easily as most songs. That can happen with some bad songs too, unfortunetly
