im right now here trying to imitate the violin part just by hearing but it's a bit of a challenge.. may I ask if you could give me a link to this piece? I've found other libertango pieces but its not like your version which im so obsessed with.
No amplification just working with the other muscians to make sure the balance is correct and everything can be heard clearly. All the other players have experience with guitar and know how to balance. Also my right hand can pack a punch!!

Mr. McAllister, how do you achieve this balance?! Are you amplified? The guitar is usually swallowed whole by each instrument on the stage.

It is strange but lots of players choose to strum the chordal opening but I feel it is much more effective like this. Thank you for commenting!
