I love this arrangement so much. I had the pleasure to sing this in Carnagie Hall last spring. The alietoric part is amazing. I'm sure I spelled that wrong. Anyway... amazing song. It makes me cry. A choir teacher told me that he interpreted it as someone dying (v1 c1) and the alietoric part is the transitioning into heaven and the end is settling. It's beautifullll<3
wow, i have been looking for this for years!! i sang it as carnegie hall 2 years in a row, and this part was also explained the same way to me!! it always breings tears to my eyes....and the KYrie part with the sopranos and altos going back and forth singing christe christe.....just bgeautiful....congrats on performing there....my favorite thing i ve done in my life....
