So what? Even if MLK was a Republican, that cannot be taken as a 1:1 correlation to the present day. Even in the 60's the Republican Party then was different than the one now. The Democrats were pushing war in the 60's which King vehemently spoke against. Times change, and so do the ways in which each party is deluded.

@fireontheriver : you can't tell weather someone is a repulican by what they say. you can be a democrat and still have your own veiw of your own political thoughts. if martin kuther king said ''i am repulican'' then that is proof enough, BUT he never said that! so you can't judge! for all we know he could have been a independent.
