  • I saw ISS tonight just a few minutes ago from my town of Kolin, Czech Republic. 9:12:45 WNW local time. It was GREAT as always....

  • wow such a long pass. I have seen it two times over my city now and the last week it flew right over my backyard. It was very cool but it was for only half a minute. Maybe I should try higher location. Nice quality of the video

  • wow! the pleiades! Taurus! Orion! and Canis Major at the end! :D the ISS: a trip through the constellations :P I should be seeing it on the 5th and 6th of this week I can't wait :)

what camera did you use to record this?

  • Cool man, I saw this a few weeks a go above Holland, Leeuwarden .

I was thinking jeez a UFO but its a space station

    Thanks for your video :)

    peace

  • Saw it this morning in New Mexico at 4:57 AM... Very cool. I am going to show my wife tomorrow morning at 5:19am. It seemed to be moving faster than on your video, but when I saw it, it was moving perpendicular to my point of view. The video is great. Good job.

  • Cool!

  • I've watched the space station by naked eye but it's becoming more difficult in my area. There was a nice dark field and lane just round the corner from my house and though the government have been putting adverts on tv about switching out lights, the local council think that means they can put more up, which means my dark little lane has had 20 lamp posts put up. With light polution like that we need your video's more than ever. Thank you for taking the time to put them on here.

  • 2:30 - I see the seven sisters

  • seven sisters?

  • Pleiades Star Cluster

  • exactly how fast does it travel?

    slow

    fast

    average fast or

    superfast?

  • Hi arrictime333,

the video tells it all. This is how it looks to the naked eye. You don't need a telescope to see it.

The speed of the space station is about 17400 mph.

    Mark

  • cool

    thanks for the info

  • very neat video! thanks for posting it :)

  • How far out does it orbit at?

  • Wow. I have wanted to catch a fast moving glimpse in my scope, but it never goes near my location. Very COOL video!

  • Where do you go to see it? I have never been able to. :(

  • the southern cross is visible (star constelation) so i am guessing, at this time anyways, you have to be in the southern hemisphere. damn that thing is bright!

  • No, if you read "About the Video" it says Switzerland.

  • Hi danydevil123,

I'm in Switzerland. Switzerland is located in the northern hemisphere. Maybe you confuse Orion with the southern cross.

    Mark

  • yeag you were in switzerland so i am wrong but if you freeze fram at .14 it looks very much like the southern cross, sorry for any confusion caused

  • Google 'Heavens Above'...it's a site where you put in your location and it gives you all the times and where in the sky it'll pass....

  • Thanks!!!!!

  • You're welcome...hope it helps..??
