  • OMG Im so confused..It looks soooo Pretty but i still have no isea how to do this :(.....Help?

  • I don't get it, what do you do when you twist both the strands together the first time? :/

  • your amazing<3!!!!

  • I got super lost... I have no idea how to actually make it look like a braid. Slower please???

  • what did you do? hahaha. cnt follow it:(

  • I can't see clearly the twists part~~~~T.T

  • hi cerinebabyyish! thank you for the cute hair tutorial^_^ what is your nationality?

  • i think its called a rope braid idk is there a difference

  • I still don't understand how to do it ): help!

  • your instructions are a bit hard to follow. you braid it too fast :/

  • Oh my God I did it!!! and I love how it turned out thank you for the video!

  • Do u gotta face???

  • what if we have not as much hair as yours , cos when i do this.the braid looks soo smal and skinny... please reply :)

  • @eunseopark14 do you have really short / thinned out hair or lots of layers?

  • I managed to do this without any fail on my sister's hair (because it's a lot longer than mine) and it turned out just like this. I've also done the mermaid, fishtail, and 5-strand braid. Out of everything I've watched, this by far has to be the simplest! LOVE IT!

  • @amandalea91 YAYYYyyyy :D thanks for letting me know

  • OOOOOH I get it now! But it's still impossible to have my hair do what I want lol

  • @Pandahighfive awww :/

  • that looks confusing but its cute

  • @skmd101 :)

  • so was it a two hair braid or three?

  • @cerinebabyyish yeayy ! i finally did it after 3 days trial ! than uuuuuuu fr th video :D

  • I think I got it on my first try! OMG.

  • @PervyMari yayyy :D

  • What nail polishes were you wearing?

  • @foreveryourvienna I wore a coral (Borghese Tangelo Sherbert) and then a glitter on left pointer finger & right ring finger (OPI Sparkle-licious)

  • i did it!!! :D but my hair is kinda short & layered for this hairstyle..*sigh*

but i will be sure doing it to my friend. haha :D

  • @cocobella021 :) awww well I hope it works!

  • Such a pretty hairstyle, but maybe if you shot it from a different angle (so your fingers doesn't cover up the 'movement'), or it you zoomed in and slowed down a bit, people would understand more :S

  • @PixelatedScreen I will possibly create a close up tutorial of this

  • you should put some kind of music in the background.. its kind of an awkward silence haha

  • @gottalovegraycee I'm just trying to avoid copyright issues I had problems on my old channel

  • figured it out on the fourth/fifth try..it is like fishtailing..

basically you start by twisting the two sections inwards like she showed in the video..

then grab a small section from one side and add it to the other

twist the side that you added the hair to one or two times

grab a small section from the side you just twisted and add it to the other

from this point you should be able to get it..if not, practice in a mirror-it helps a lot!

  • @peggs321 exactly :) thank you

  • Neat! I love it!

And girls, tip--(further explanation)--after you split the twist in half, put the other twist inside of it and then bring the original twist back together. Repeat, except with the twist that you just put in the middle being the one you split in half.

  • The braid is awesome <3. Wanna ask you about your nails! Would you do a tutorial about that? I love them :3

    Thanks!

  • @mariaclahhe thank you && it's actually just nail polish

I wore a coral (Borghese Tangelo Sherbert) and then a glitter on left pointer finger

& right ring finger (OPI Sparkle-licious)

  • Why don't you show your face?

  • @helloimkaci123 I don't want to wear makeup all the time & worry about looking presentable every time I film

  • omg... you did this so fast! haha i got lost :\

  • @npauj13 please check some of the popular comments, other people's explanations may make more sense to you

  • @starryinstyle

thanks! i just watched the video and i got lost after deviding hair into 2 :D but then i read your comment and understood, tried and succeeded ;)

it is a very cool idea and very nice braid!

  • Guys, it's actually really easy:

    1. Pull your hair onto the side

    2. Section your hair into 2

    3. Twist both sections towards each other

so you hair basically looks like this: \ / (2 twists of hair facing towards each other), right?

    4. Now all you have to do, is stick your finger THROUGH BOTH THOSE TWISTS like this:

~\~~~/~ ( The ~~ is where your finger should be)

    5. Now divide and twist again.

If you need anymore help, you can ask CerineBabyyish or me :)

  • @starryinstyle thank you :)

  • love this look but i just couldn't get it right. totally understand what needs to be done, but i don't think i'm sectioning it right x.x i'm going to try it again tomorrow or else i'll just end up doing a fishtail again.

  • @xCHELLy please check some of the popular comments, other people's explanations may make more sense to you

  • wait im lost after twisting both locks inward ._."

  • @SwTanaPanda please check some of the popular comments, other people's explanations may make more sense to you

  • @xBeyza97 please check some of the popular comments, other people's explanations may make more sense to you

  • Why dont you show your face?

  • @CourtneeeyCorpse don't want to wear makeup every time I film & try to look pretty

  • Such an elegant look...I love it !

  • @SophieWilliamz thank you so much Sophie <3

  • I think it's really easy :) You twist two strands towards each other a couple of times, then divide them into TWO NEW strandes which you twist again towards each other. Repeat. It looks really nice :)

  • @Coselnuss thank you :) I'm glad you got it

  • awesome

  • @schneevoilett :) ty

  • @cerinebabyyish hi! sorry I know this is going to be a retarded question, but I don't understand how to do this braid?

First you section off 2 strands and then twist both inward and then twist them together? And then twist both inward again and again until you reach the bottom? I tried but it didn't work :(

  • uhmm can anyone tell me..WTF JUST HAPPEND and i only caught the "put all your hair on one side and split it into two".. and i swear i watched the braiding (thing) part about 10 to 16 times...

  • i finally got it =) but need to perfect it. thank you

  • @xAutumnKiss yayyyyyy :) you're welcome

  • @xAutumnKiss yayyyyyy :) you're welcome

  • thank you for showing all of us how to do this!! Any tips for curly hair??

  • @leewilsonful this braid actually works better with curly hair

  • weew niice i'll tryy it :D

  • @girl2011O :)

  • Ok, I get it now xD Didn't look as cool on my hair sinse it's rather short, but it worked. Looked thick and nice :)

  • @WahlnottPrinsessa yayyyy :)

  • I'll wach this many times untill I understand how to do this xD

  • @WahlnottPrinsessa lol :/

  • it's easy to understand what you're doing but it's really really really hard to do it..

  • @jErkizZ101 :/ I think it really just takes some time to play around with to get used to doing it

  • @cerinebabyyish I hope so. :) Cause I really like it. Hehe

  • Does this hairstyle fall apart easily without hairspray? :000

  • @BubsLlama depends on your hair length and texture, it's best if you have less layers & more waves/curls because the twists will hold better but if you do have some short layers or if you have stick straight hair I would highly recommend setting with some sort of wax or hairspray

  • ..i dont understaaand D:

  • @meggoz423 when she grabs two peaces of hair , she twist them in words and then she breaks those two twists and makes new ones .. :/ hope you understand Mee! :P

  • @girl2011O :OO ohh ive done something like that before pahahah thanks ! that makes more sense : ]

  • @meggoz423 Hehe :) no problem :)

  • ahh i think i got it :D

  • so cute :D

  • @biebersBaby1 thanks :)

  • it's not confusing to me at all......

  • WHAT IS THIS SORCERY.

  • @MiicHELLeiLy lollll

  • @cerinebabyyish please can u show this from another angle? or draw picture for us?

  • i dont get it D: i tried and tried and it doesnt woorrkk

  • @linhny1011 Ahhh! I miss your hair tutorials!!! Please make more. We love you!!!

  • yeah the looks are good but we just don't really what the hell goes inside those hands of you sorry :) just hope you can make a way to make it look more simple :)

  • hell yeah I could done this hairstyle after watching the turotial for about 50times -_- <3

  • i wish i hads a sister like her so she can do my hair all day :(

  • your hair is to die for.

  • my explanation of the style: it's similar to a fishtail braid except you keep twisting inwards after taking hair from each side and you take more hair than you would in a normal fishtail braid..

is that right?? it looks gorgeouss btw :)

  • love ur hair color :* and the tutorial is so nice

  • How the hell do you section it again without untwisting the first 2 sections??

  • your styles are beautiful, but you move too quickly and don't explain your movements enough. it's very hard to even see what you're doing.

  • didnt get it...can u do on another's hair?? PLS HELP ME!!

  • you are a genious!

  • @KalexCullen thank you :)

  • Uhmmm so it's like a fishtail but you keep twisting each section? and i don't exactly get how you got the new sections each time....helpp! i really want to try this!

  • @jennyferw9 no, not really. I honestly don't really know how to explain this any other way this is how someone else explained it "it's kind of like a fishtail, but instead of taking forever and being super neat, you're just twisting in, grabbing hair from one section bringing it over, re-twisting, and then splitting those sections and grabbing from the other side (so it's two even chunks to twist every time.)"

  • What is your hair color? Its SO beautiful!!

  • @MakeuptipswithJordan I have a blogpost on it, it's a light ash brown except it doesn't pick up properly in most of my videos :/

  • I wish i had long hair again :'(

  • @LOLXDPUN :( aww some of the other looks may work for slightly shorter hair

  • the braid looks really nice but i don't know what to do after you twist it inward ? :)

  • @katek6 divide each half into 2 again.

grab a section from the second half and add it to the first

and also grab a section from the first half to add to the second

so you have 2 equal sections again and twist inwards

  • what.

  • When you said "Divisions" I thought you sounded exactly like Dakota Fanning o_o

    From the movie Push.

  • @Dork8D lol I've never heard that before :)

  • awesome video!! thank you! subbed, check out my channel?:)

  • @AccordingToKristyn thank you & will do

  • For those wondering, it's kind of like a fishtail, but instead of taking forever and being super neat, you're just twisting in, grabbing hair from one section bringing it over, re-twisting, and then splitting those sections and grabbing from the other side (so it's two even chunks to twist every time.)

Or at least, that's what I did to achieve this look.

  • @lhartlett :) that's exactly it thanks

  • I get it! To my first time, it was very good. With practice, I will get better. Thank you!! :D

  • @juditealmeida yayyy! you're welcome

  • Wait! What just happened???

  • Love it! Deff. trying it tomorrow, thanks!

  • @lhartlett :) yayyy you're welcome

  • explain how to do this?-3

  • @enicolerosa you just take your hair into 2 sections, twist them inwards, pull them together and then divide again. But the second division should go through both of the initial twists. I hope that makes sense?

So basically if you look at it as 4 different smaller sections: a, b, c, d

the first 2 sections will be a with b, and c with d

after you twist the section ab and the section cd inwards

the second division should have sometime like ac and bd, or ad and bc?

  • I love your work but you do it in a little light so we are missing the small elegant details ..

but good job, I'm your new subscriber ^_^

  • @RoshaRainDrops sorry, I'm trying to play with new lighting and editing and stuff please be patient with me until I find something that works

  • I dont get it):

So you twist in words, then stick your finger some where?

  • @iloveyouall42 stick your finger right between the two twists again and use that parting to create 2 different sections and you twist these 2 inwards and continue...

  • @iloveyouall42 she twists in words but in every step she uses a new secession , she like adds more hair maybe XD

  • i dont get whatr your doing please someone help ???

the videos not showing me how to do it rather instructing me <3 love it but dont noe what to do :(

  • @POSTALIFE you just take your hair into 2 sections, twist them inwards, pull them together and then divide again. But the second division should go through both of the initial twists. I hope that makes sense?

So basically if you look at it as 4 different smaller sections: a, b, c, d

  • this is another one of my favorite hairstyles that you have created :)

  • @lusshhhhh thanks

  • KKOOOLLLL!!!!!

  • @lipstick9898 :) ty

  • Different & creative! =)

  • @WyeSun thanks!

  • It hair looks ammmaazzing soo shiny!! Can u do a vid on ur hair care routine and tips on keeping hair healthy

  • @ChocoMochiLover yes, that's definitely on my list :)

  • This is so pretty, but my hair is short so I just watch and envy you and the many ways you can style your hair. V.V

  • @makeuplover2012 hahaah awww thank you

  • Hey I love this braid, but everytime i try to do it, it sort of works. But aat the start of the braid the two twisted sections separate from eachother... Im unsure of why???

  • @420saraah you need to either start with very curly or wavy hair so it has a lot of texture, or you have to only tug the braid loosely and probably not have it as voluminous as I made my braid. Also, don't twist the sections too much before dividing them apart.

  • Comment removed

  • it's pretty annoying when we can't see how it looks from the front!!!!!

but your videos are nice though

  • This is really cute and creative! <3

  • @flaka061908 thank you :D

  • i mean the section part.

  • IS IT POSSIBLE YO START SHOWING THE FRONT VIEW SO WE CAN SEE HOW THE DESIGNS FRAME THE FACE??? I NOTICED NONE OF THE VIDEOS HAVE THAT. THEY'RE ALL NICE THOUGH, THIS IS ORIGINAL

  • @finessence808 sorry, I'm just trying to show the hair from the sides and back. I do sometimes have pictures from the front posted on my blog

  • i still dont get how to do the twisting part. need heeeelp

  • @iinenggerani just take the two sections and twist them inwards towards each other, divide into 2 sections again but this time cut right through both of the original sections. take the new parting and repeat. I hope that helps

  • What do you suggest for people with lots of layers and flyaways hun? :)

  • @xxvietbebe try putting some wax or gel through the layered sections a little before you start braiding and the curls definitely help mold the layers and force them to hold together, and use some hairspray :) you can also pull the braid apart a little less than I did if you don't want it to look so loose. Hope that helps!

  • love this tutorial thank you<3

  • @96kawaiigirl thank you so much!

  • I wish my hair was a lot longer and less layered. I love this hair style :D

  • @wenxD thanks hun! <3

  • so is this just a regular french braid but with you have to twist?

  • @n4turelle not really, you're not adding hair in at all but I kind of see what you mean

  • I love your hair! How can I get volume without teasing?

  • @ilovify thanks! try flipping your hair upside down and spray it with any hairspray, flip your hair back up once the spray dries and sets. If that's not enough volume, your can even blow dry upside down =)

  • ahh i remember this!! learned the alternative braid from you! <3

  • @cyexquisite =D
