what a weak text, no bite in it. very wordy. And the form of letters? Would the devil ever write letters? And only a monologue. The nephew never writes back.
I would stop writing if i would not get any feedback.
@ruzickaw Are you really considering who you are criticizing?
I suppose your comment exemplifies quite exquisitely Screwtape's suggestion of making the subject believe they knows it all.
Good day to you my good sir, may you one day awake.
PS: C.S. Lewis wrote "The Screwtape Letters." I highly recommend "Mere Christianity" by the same author, that is unless you are too busy with real life.
@ruzickaw 1. Screwtape is not the Devil, merely a high- ranking demon.
2. The nephew Wormwood does write back. Even though his letters are never seen in the book, Screwtape often refers to them in the book (i.e. saying something like, "In your last letter, you said that my advice on hindering the Patient's prayers for his mother has been unhelpful..."), so readers can gain at least a rough idea of what Wormwood is thinking through that.
It's kind of weird; due to copyright issues, I cannot upload anymore of these without them being private. However, I am working on remedying this, and should have the rest of the screwtape letters, the great divorce, and possibly 'The Magicians Nephew' up, by the end of next month.
God bless you for uploading this. More people need to read or listen to this book in order to understand the devil's hand in our lives.

@gdbalck I find it amusing that everyone begins to comment in the language of Screwtape. Suddenly we are all British. LOL!
