@NewEnglandBudo Yes. This is not Kyudokan. We do not practice this type of Shime (kitae) in Naihanchi. The kitae shown in this video looks like body conditioning. We do not hit the body violently like in this kaiha. In Kyudokan Naihanchi, Kitae is used to give the muscle memory on correct body alignments, and dynamics.
@NewEnglandBudo Hmmm.. I have no idea whether Chibana Sensei did this type of kitae.. (I was not born at that time.. lol). But, in Kyudokan we do it in the way I have mentioned above. I recently uploaded a video of Oscar Higa Sensei doing Naihanchi Kitae. But, I didn't upload the complete video. :-)))

There are few videos of Naihanchi Kitae of Minoru Higa Sensei and Oscar Higa Sensei at youtube. As I know Shorin Ryu Karatedo Kyokai was headed by Chibana Sensei and then Miyahira Sensei. But, i have no idea whether it is a Federation or a one single school. But, I wonder whether Chibana Sensei did this type of Kitae. :-)) Greetings..

I take that this Higa's Kyudokan group? I know that his time w/ Miyagi Sendai he adopted a lot of shime to his Naifanchi.

No, this isn't Kyudokan. The announcer states that this is the "Shorin ryu Karatedo Kyokai", which would be Chibana's original group.
