@wizbot1 that you say is just not right.....what should bigger engines do ? Like cars with 400...800+ HP ? it's just that you need you need the appropriate (in size) air filter. I don't think that takegawa recommend using the engine without filter.......while in their website they sell "Carburetor kits" that include air filters....am I right or not ?

nope, they only made a cilinder head as DOHC but it fits almost all honda minibike engines. to bad it costs over 2000 euro.

kitaco also makes a DOHC head

How much more hp would you get out of a dohc instead of a normal ohc? I know theres a lot of variables, but can you give an estimate?

ive had all the takegawa motors apart from the 138cc ...

dohc 124cc made 17.8 bhp

superhead 124 made 17.9 bhp

both at the back wheel on the same dyno the super head motor had been ported and worked where as the dohc motor was standard ...but in my opinion dohc is just for show and not worth the extra money you would pay for it
