Very good! I think You do not need such backing tracks - You could play with tonality-changes in a free-felt way then and it would sound i.m.O. more `bluesy´ (which is a matter of taste and not of quality). Your timing is very good, your intonation is very good as well and the lines, licks a.s.o. You developed will get more and more personal the longer You practise! My thumb stands up;)

this is utterly staggering for a 14yr old. great technique, tone & touch. but even more importantly jake, you leave gaps between your playing, you alter your picking style, and you change pickups. to do these sorts of things naturally at your age really is bordering on the ridiculous. keep it going buddy!

Right on! Glad to see the Tele and equally glad to see the fingers! Also playing up by the bridge is such a great tonal area, a lot of players forget about it. Something you may want to try (on another song because this one is FINE) is picking and plucking over the neck. You can get some great percussive noises as well as unintentional harmonics up there. You're switching really well from pick to fingers and back...I flat can't do that at all. Very well done, you oughta be proud of this'un.
