I have to admit that the visuals of the Wii are starting to show its age. Nontheless, I'm digging this game so hard! I don't think graphics are the most important thing on a game, but with their next system, games will look much prettier and they can use that extra power to create other stuff like more advance visual styles and more stuff on screen. I hope this game gets released outside Japan. They also have Xenoblade and The Last Story to go along.
This looks interesting. But I'd have more confidence in it if the developer's entire history of games didn't consist of One Piece and Shonen Jump tie-in products.

Only 5 of the 20 games you have listed are above 8 and can be considered AAA titles, the rest are bellow or barely above average and aren't notable games of that year and in the industry.

"Metacritic is a website that collates reviews of music albums movies and games" (Source: Wikipedia) Meaning that Metacritic gathers all the reviews from all recognized Magazines, and Websites and tally's the average, meaning the Metacritic score is legit.
