  • DAN FOGELBERG AND MIKE BOTTS R I P WILL BE REMEMBER FOREVER,,,,

  • This was an AMAZING concert...we saw it in Chicago...Joe Walsh and Tim Weisberg joined in as well! FAB!

  • Thank you! I loved this! As you posted Dan's words, "Let every creature I see be a brother & a friend to me"~this was undoubtedly a true statement from his heart. He showed it in so many ways while he was w/us~in his music of course & the way he lived. Also great comment at the end of your post. After watching this I sat here for about a minute & one word came into my mind: "Awesome!" Thank you for sharing more of Dan & your kind words for this wonderful, not only musician, but person. 5* Plus!

  • Outstanding!!! Dan always surrounded himself with amazing talent. I Thank you so much for your post, every live performance is such a gift to a grieving heart. Dan left behind numerous warrior footprints upon the spirit trail, as well as, upon our hearts and now he flies with the eagles.

And you are right! Dan's music and his life has always inspired me, and countless others, and it will continue to do so ever on.

  • I've seen Dan 7 times in concert, this was the last,..... I miss him.

  • Awesome! I have The Wild places on my laptop. Solid album and he COULD rock with the best of them....

  • Sorry, tomarkenfan83, hit the wrong hand! Meant to give you a thumbs up!

  • Thanks for posting this. It's great to see him and hear him rock!

  • Man, I love this song! Dan could rock with the best of them! Such a timeless talent. Miss him.

  • I just ran across this. I own the dvd of this concert. I love the introduction with the landscape of the west. Gave me goosebumps!! I relate to this song, I am one eighth Comanche Indian. My grandfather was born on the Comanche Reservation in Oklahoma. I love when Dan rocked out also. I hope he found that spiritual trail. He may not be with us in the physical sense, but his spirit for life will always be here.

  • I relate very much to this song also. It's one that resides in my heart continually. I especially love the lyric "Let every creature I see..."

I love your phrase about Dan's spirit for life. It's that spirit that he expressed that remains and continues to inspire.

Yet still, I grieve for lost expectations.

  • We all walk the Spirit Trail when we leave here. The destination is just further for some.
