Im going back to Queenstown in May 2011. Cant wait! Also wanted to add, if you are into hiking, Arrowtown is a nice place to visit which you can get to by the local bus.

Queenstown is amazing...10 days of excursions including MUST DO's ...Shotover River Jet, Milford Sound overnight with Real Journeys, and horseback riding in Glenorchy just to name a few. Our favorite places to eat are OLD MAN ROCK Cafe (best eggs benny, flat whites, and excellent friendly personable service) and CHICO's Bar and Grill for dinner (mentioned in the video) ! Queenstown = A SPECTACULAR VACATION!

This place is so gorgeous,weve just come back from a 2nd holiday there in a year.Crime is very low,no graffiti,courteous driving,very clean,unbelievable scenery but the only fault was listening to my own race,the foreigners spoke very well but when i heard the Kiwis it was awful embarrassing foul mouthed swearing and looking at this blog we have a little half wit doing the same.

Hi, nice vid! A couple of corrections; The mountain you call the Remarkables is actually Cecil Peak, which lies across the lake to the west of the Remarkables. The lake is about 1300 feet deep (not 3 miles), and about 3 miles wide. Some local guide must have had their wires crossed!
