i completed the game and want number 2 t come out but its in november 09 or january 10 and then the srd one says everythign ive started talking japanise lessons to know it so i can get it sooner.
Actually, i think this game is like the part in die hard with a vengeance when they have an 8 gallon jug and 3 gallon jug and they have to get a certain ammount in order to disarm they bomb, thats how i think this game blends its story and gameplay :D
I heard about this game from some random blog page I stumbled upon. I like Adventure games but only every once in a while. I played them a lot as a kid but now they don't hold my attention very long.
This game is only 29 dollar in Ottawa Canada, I can't imagine it being much more in other locations. Maybe 5 more dollars if the store is being greedy.
Thanks, actually, I just picked it up at Zellers on Merrivile Rd for $29.99. Which is strange because Zellers usually charges at least $5 more for games.
Good video, Ben. I'm glad you did this one, as I have been staring at this game debating on whether or not I should buy it. I'll probably be picking it up now.
Yeah I think your probably right. I thought about it but since it was a handheld game I decided to do it as VGTO. If I do another I think I will do it as a Double Jump.
Hi, nice video. Prevews are nice but I prefer full revews. Some sites have prevews and then don't follow them up with full revews when they come out. That really bugs me. So if you continue with the prevews I personaly hope that you follow them up with full revews. But that's just my opinion.
I have to say I wish this game's puzzles had more to do with the actual story line like Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk. But I give them credit mixing things up and trying something somewhat different.
I especially appriciate that you said it resembled a more European art style, as oppose to others who keep mention it looks like it was "Miyazaki-influenced". (Not that I have anything against Hayao Miyazaki, mind you, but I feel alot more people need to watch more European animation films, and that's where Youtube comes in.)

Good review but $35 for a game isn't bad an average DS title in the UK is around £25 or $50

Where did you get it for $29? Best price I saw it for was $34. Iam from Ottawa also.

Futureshop on Merivile has it listed for $29 bucks, and the Loblaws on College Square is the same. Dunno about EBs or anything.

How did you capture the footage? With an emulator or connecting the DS to the PC? Thanks.

It's so blurry. Is that the actual game or just this video?
DanielSmith604 4 years ago
It's just the video. Unfortunately the compression did bad things to it. :(

I started playing this game and it's great, I think the weights puzzle will get most people stumped. I try to never use hints.
Abvance 4 years ago
no that was easy i started 1 and 2, 1 and 3, 1-4, 1-5,then i think you could carry on from there to get the answer
gaarafan21648 3 years ago
35 USD = alot? o_O Here(In Norway) normal DS games costs between 90-110 USD.
oraichu 4 years ago
In the US the average DS game is between 20-30 dollars. Only a few make it to the 35 dollar mark. So it's expensive compared to the others.
VideoGameTakeOut 4 years ago
Thats REALLY cheap. ;)
oraichu 4 years ago
lol, sounds like someone can make a fortune by buying a bunch of DS games from GameStop and selling them to Norwegians.

This was the first Preview I've done. It was kind of an experiment to see if people would be interested in that.
Honestly I don't think I have time to do a follow up, but if people really wanted it I guess I could do it.
I have a ton of Reviews that you can check out though and there will definitely be more of those lol

Yeah I've been playing it more and I kinda agree but it's fun to try something new and so far it's still a really fun and fresh experience. :)

the characters and game art give me a "sherlock holmes" impression. the animation is smooth, though, and highly stylistic
