    look out japan IM COMMING.

  • Actually, Professor Layton 2 is coming out in the US in August. I'm very excited about it though!

  • It sounds like bert and ernie lol!

  • oh gosh... i don´t like the voices...

T_T They are creppen me out x_x

  • this game is hard but boy is it fun im a bit stuck at the moment but i shall not give up(even if i get a painful headache every time i play LOL)

  • Good review but $35 for a game isn't bad an average DS title in the UK is around £25 or $50

  • wow 1 year who knew *not me*

  • Sounds like a good game. I might buy it.

  • it is good i'm only 12 don't know much 'bout these types of puzzles and i'm done with chapter 4 and it's very interesting

  • i like the voices though :-)

  • Actually, i think this game is like the part in die hard with a vengeance when they have an 8 gallon jug and 3 gallon jug and they have to get a certain ammount in order to disarm they bomb, thats how i think this game blends its story and gameplay :D

  • no there's no bomb in that puzzle

  • I heard about this game from some random blog page I stumbled upon. I like Adventure games but only every once in a while. I played them a lot as a kid but now they don't hold my attention very long.

  • This game is only 29 dollar in Ottawa Canada, I can't imagine it being much more in other locations. Maybe 5 more dollars if the store is being greedy.

  • Where did you get it for $29? Best price I saw it for was $34. Iam from Ottawa also.

  • Futureshop on Merivile has it listed for $29 bucks, and the Loblaws on College Square is the same. Dunno about EBs or anything.

  • Thanks, actually, I just picked it up at Zellers on Merrivile Rd for $29.99. Which is strange because Zellers usually charges at least $5 more for games.

  • How did you capture the footage? With an emulator or connecting the DS to the PC? Thanks.

  • Good video, Ben. I'm glad you did this one, as I have been staring at this game debating on whether or not I should buy it. I'll probably be picking it up now.

  • Hi, yeah i think these previews should be released under your Doublejump-series :D

  • Yeah I think your probably right. I thought about it but since it was a handheld game I decided to do it as VGTO. If I do another I think I will do it as a Double Jump.

  • what do u use to capture video from your DS?

  • i wish games where 35 dollars here in australia but i couldent really care anymore i have r4

  • It's so blurry. Is that the actual game or just this video?

  • It's just the video. Unfortunately the compression did bad things to it. :(

  • I started playing this game and it's great, I think the weights puzzle will get most people stumped. I try to never use hints.

  • no that was easy i started 1 and 2, 1 and 3, 1-4, 1-5,then i think you could carry on from there to get the answer

  • 35 USD = alot? o_O Here(In Norway) normal DS games costs between 90-110 USD.

  • In the US the average DS game is between 20-30 dollars. Only a few make it to the 35 dollar mark. So it's expensive compared to the others.

  • Thats REALLY cheap. ;)

  • lol, sounds like someone can make a fortune by buying a bunch of DS games from GameStop and selling them to Norwegians.

  • nice preview, man and i will love to see more preview on upcoming games.

  • Hi, nice video. Prevews are nice but I prefer full revews. Some sites have prevews and then don't follow them up with full revews when they come out. That really bugs me. So if you continue with the prevews I personaly hope that you follow them up with full revews. But that's just my opinion.

  • This was the first Preview I've done. It was kind of an experiment to see if people would be interested in that.

Honestly I don't think I have time to do a follow up, but if people really wanted it I guess I could do it.

I have a ton of Reviews that you can check out though and there will definitely be more of those lol

  • Thanks for responding, whatever you deside you have a grate shoe and I won't stop watching. Thanks for making a grate shoe.

  • Previews of games just released are great.

  • its nice. it would be cool if u could do like 1 a mounth and do the rest with the regualar episodes

  • wow thanks for the review! I might think of getting this game...

  • I have to say I wish this game's puzzles had more to do with the actual story line like Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk. But I give them credit mixing things up and trying something somewhat different.

  • Yeah I've been playing it more and I kinda agree but it's fun to try something new and so far it's still a really fun and fresh experience. :)

  • Thumbs-up

I especially appriciate that you said it resembled a more European art style, as oppose to others who keep mention it looks like it was "Miyazaki-influenced". (Not that I have anything against Hayao Miyazaki, mind you, but I feel alot more people need to watch more European animation films, and that's where Youtube comes in.)

  • the characters and game art give me a "sherlock holmes" impression. the animation is smooth, though, and highly stylistic
