They definitely were bullied, everyone is at some point in their life. But they bullied others more often. The last thing that the black kid heard before he was murdered were racial slurs. And even if they were bullied as much as everyone believes they were, that would never justify taking the lives of others. They had serious mental issues that went deeper than bullying. If you read their journal entries, the truth is pretty evident, especially in Eric's. The guy referred to himself as God.

Millions of children are bullied every day. I don't think bullying alone was enough to set Eric and Dylan off. Personally, it was the fact that Eric was left unmonitored and unsupervised with dangerous medication and anti-depressants, that were later proved to provoke extremes in behaviour and emotions. Then Dylan confided with Eric about his bullying and Dylan felt safe with Eric. These were two very mislead and misunderstood boys. It was such as shame it ended how it did.

In Naples a bullied victim stabbed his bully 12 times and killed him and is not found guilty, finally more and more justice is served. The kid got off the bus and the bully followed him off his bus stop and punched him, much smaller than the bully, the bullied victim tried to run and when the bully would not back off he stabbed the bully in the chest and stomach 12 times killing the bully and does not face any charges nor jail time
