  • Nutn is a flight instructor?

  • 10:00 Beretta Cx4 Storm?

  • "heres what i would do if i were you"....throw that crappy gun out

  • great video!!

  • do you know offhand how long Jerrod's sbr barrel is? would love to know, it seemed to be kicking up tons of dust.

  • what was the lady shooting looks like a cx4 storm by berreta

  • haha the accessories some people feel the need to run... I guess it's easy to do; everything's so cool who doesn't want it all?

can't wait to get my Mini 14 though and do some functional upgrades.

  • I love this series and you are inspirational kind of dude =)

  • Man, that frankengun was hideous.

  • What rifle is OJ using?

  • @NovaScotiaNewfie Pretty sure it's his duty M4.

  • LOL at the Frankengun. Seriously. That gun is atrocious and absolutely unusable in combat. He's got way too much stuff on there and it's effecting the rest of the gun. Zoiks.

  • That lady really can't shoot. Whatever she's running on her rifle ain't working.

  • When the instructor is going over mag changes and refers to dropping the bolt, there is no mention of the value of a magpu BAD lever, that thing is essential

  • It's real funny that the most badass gun had the most problems (frankin gun)

  • Seeing all those jams, Im glad I bought the AK.

  • MOARRR!

  • Great vid Nutn-it's the simplest things that make a huge difference.

  • Great video, one of my favorites. Wish you had more.

  • Comment removed

  • wow, i had no idea that mall ninjas could be LEO.....great vid and shootin nutn, at least somebody in this crowd represented the CIV crowd good....thanks man i wish you nothing but full mags and good hits.

    BFI

  • @BFI556 Agreed. If the instructor comments on the weight of your gun that could be considered a clue that maybe you don't need the side mounted red dot. (or whatever else)

  • Smashing the mag does not tell you if it is seated. The Tap, TUG, Rack, Bang Drill will let you know right away if your mag is not seated. It takes an extra tenth of a second for the little tug on the mag after you tap it in. And after a couple of million Tap, Rack Bang drills it is hard to change. But this change will work for you .A simple tug on the mag!! Great vid Nutn!!

    Shoot,Move.......LIve!!

  • A few guys seem to be running with pmag/windows. they are cute mags and all but unless i'm running ALL my mags with mag level window, i wouldnt want to rely on it for tactical status of my rounds.

  • great vid, thanks for posting

  • This is some great tactical training and Kyle really knows his stuff. Thanks.

  • Ha ha the dude with the fankin M-4 really needs to simplify his rig. "It's that damn mag again", lol. Great video and the instructor is a super smart dude. You should do a review on OJ's PWS Diablo shorty some time. As always keep on pumping out the awesome vids.

  • How is inadvertentsmell doing? Haven't heard any updates :)

  • @kariido1 Smell is doing great! He's home for a week right now. Nutn wants to meet up but with only a week's leave, doesn't know if it can happen. -- Veri

  • love the video!! thx nutn

  • I bet the instructor had an Enidine Hydraulic buffer in his AR, they work great for stability.

  • All the greatest gear in the world won't help you if you can't shoot. Some of these people really suck.... and there supposed to be police? Sadly they all think that there the best.... lmao. I can teach a 12 year old to shoot better.

  • @Racingfeet21 Then do it and show us.

  • @redmunkee i second that pls feel free to post ur vidsRacingfeet

  • LOL, "It's not the mag..." so, what's the deal with the Frankenrifle, does it have a rotating fore-end or something? I've never even heard of that. That can be the only reason he has an optic on the right side.

  • @FWalshingham a lot of 3gun style competors use the side sight, scope for the long range then tilt the rifle ova to use the side sight/red dot, but the rifle was junk bro way to much crap on it. KISS best way to have your weapons.

  • @TheDishD Hmm...never heard of that before, thanks. Yeah, agreed on the too much stuff, epecially for that barrel length.

  • @FWalshingham * tilt it ova to engage short range targets

  • awesome song at the end

  • Nice... great video. :D

  • any info on the ear protection? It looks very comfortable and does not not conflict with cheek weld.

  • @jordub Nutn' uses the Peltor ear protection, they have a range of sets.

  • Great vid Nutn, thanks for taking us along!

  • 2:41 Saving bucks! Epic lol!

  • Another freaking great video from Nutnfancy..Thanks very much!

  • its just like cowa dooty

  • Cx storm didn't have enough stuff on it, could

    About 1000 bucks more

  • Funny telling nutn to slow down ...nutn was trying to get more rounds down to increase the points..

  • Loved it, lots of tips too Thanks nutnfancy! *****

  • Awesome video Nutn, you are freaking awesome!

  • Is OJ rockin a PWS?

LOL at the- Its not the Mag comment @ 42:01

  • @250jfp I asked that on the other vid at the end it looks like a diablo 556

  • Sometimes an instructor, always a student.

  • Great vid ...... best part is nutn reppin the Mini 14 ..... LOL.

  • A speed reload (or imminent thread reload or whatever guys call it) is basically what you do when your gun is empty and there is a threat present and you lack cover (don't care if that is a concrete barrier or a buddy). It's about getting the gun ready as fast as possible, and a dump pouch is not the way for that, because you should shave those milliseconds.

The YTer RetreatHell wrote an excellent article on this, who is currently in a wheelchair because of a slow reload.

  • This guy really know his stuff whatever the cost was , it was worth it .

  • sweet vid man!!! Love watching various guns and people going through courses....I really like listening to different instructors and their techniques!!! One thing that I have earned is that no matter where you go, the forms, procedures and tactics are all basically the same....they just show from experience their modified was of doing it as another option to make you more efficent!!!!

  • what the heck? man, this vid didn't show up in my subs vid list again. Good thing i check back regularly

  • What kind of scope do you have on your AR, nutn?

  • That Franken-Gun was awesome! I so want one... /sarcasm

Would be interested to know what caused it to become so unreliable. Would also agree that its not the pmag. Looked a little overkill with all the accessories.

  • @ExTester

I dont think that I can go another day without getting my hands on the over compensated weapon!!!! It amazes me how much crap one person can throw on a carbine!!!!

  • @joshlone1982

It did seem like it was over compensated weapon. Its got to be a "Forum" gun for sure. Think the guy was trying to go for the Metal Gear Solid look, and failed to wake up to reality.

  • @ExTester It was CLEARLY one of two things(and probably a combination of both.)

1)Tight chamber. I don't care if the barrel was marked 5.56x45, I guarantee you that if you put a 5.56 chamber reamer in it, metal would be removed. This is the case with many DPMS/RRA/BM/Olympic hobbyist rifles.

2)Gas leak. I'm also willing to bet that the gas key was neither fitted properly, nor properly torqued and staked.

  • Pretty sweet series!! Very useful for the inexperienced and experienced alike. Would love to see more of these types of instructionals.

  • Thanks for representing the Mini 14 crowd nutnfancy!

  • Great series. That instructor had some good tips and didn't come off arrogant. Thanks for posting!

  • 34:45 a war starts

  • @MrConner227

I thought that same here man......at about 35:00 it sounded like a 4th of July grand finale!!!!!

  • Looks like great training. Thanks for filming. Do you have a link to the drill Kyle walked the group through? The video only showed segments of it.

  • 43:00 "So here is what I should do if I was you.." ..Go home sell that overweight piece of cr..p and get a real gun like the mini-14 lol

  • Goes to show, its all easy in the movies, but doin it for real is somethin else.

  • Man...I wish I was out there with you guys! That looks like a BLAST!!!

  • LOL...15:26 OJ gets yelled at because Nut'n tells him how to game the system!

  • As you said, common sense stuff as far as stabilization goes, but still hard to get some times, and it always looks easier than it is.

That instructor is great. Such detailed and concise direction, but clearly no ego.

  • NOT BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN!...but she's terrible...at the 20 minute mark she never even let a shot off...is the instructor even helping her, or is she unteachable...how she is on a LE squad is unbelievable...

  • @smokestakz Lets hope shes a normal cop with a good partner riding shotgun, With a carbine, lol

  • @smokestakz Lets hope shes a normal cop with a good partner riding shotgun, With a carbine, lol

  • @smokestakz I don't know, but she was back talking the instructor at one point. Not that professional, sorry.

  • @ around 10:20...what is she shooting, some kind of 9mm 0r .40 carbine...the rest of the group is firing .556..

  • @smokestakz A beretta Px4 Storm, yea, pistol caliber carbine.

  • @smokestakz A beretta Px4 Storm, yea, pistol caliber carbine.

  • What kind of hearing protection are you wearing and do you reccomend?

  • @seansound Nutn' uses peltor ear muffs

  • What kind of hearing protection are you wearing and do you reccomend?

  • what does oj teach?

  • @lostcozz99 i believe Oj is a LEO instructor in Martial arts,knife/hand to hand fighting as well as general shooting instructor

  • @lostcozz99 he also is an instructor in Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Filipino martial arts hope this answers your questions bro

  • Great video, some good pointers.

  • a lot of mag drops in the begining of the vid. Cool vid Nutn, OJ.

oh, love to see women at these training schools

  • right now i am a civillian sheepdog traing to be LE and I found this video EXTREMELY Helpful! Me and my LE bud went out and coppied some of the drills you were doing and they seemed to be very challenging and FUN! PLEASE Keep up the good work!!!

  • a lot of mag drops in the begining of the vid. Cool vid Nutn, OJ.

  • that was my favorite shooting video yet! Thanks nutn for the free inside look at the training camp

  • Comment removed

  • That frankengun had so many problems. Why wasn't he using the non magnified optic that was mounted on the side at close range? Great vid nutn.

  • @c0boy If you put you lens cap over the front and turn the illumination on you can keep both eyes open and u will see the cross hairs in you free eye. This works great for clearing house or close contact with a scope mounted.

  • I cant seem to figure out why my wife loves watching TNP now? Oh yea, its Officer Jared!!!

  • @joesav27 it mite have been Nutn' plan (to help us men out when the new torch, knife/gun, gear etc shows up) all along, "lets keep the wifes happy and distracted by watching OJ, the men can then order gear and when it turns up at the house say to the wife "but OJ wears/uses it". I like the idea Nutn' !

  • Glad to see a female LEO in there but when they went prone shooting she is really slow and never got shots off in the timer. Not knocking women here but alot of my fellow female LEOs are like that too now that i think about it. They never seem in a hurry to kneel of go prone. Its something Ill have to address with them next range trip we take.

  • @StuartBoyer - for some reason i believe most women still have some kind of hesitation when it comes to firing a weapon in the first place...I've never seen a woman at the range or in a video that actually looked like she was ready to fire a weapon..the last one i saw at the range was seemingly terrified of shooting her .40 baby glock..i talked to her instructor and he said she had been shooting all day.....might be something in their psyche...

  • @smokestakz Not buying that claim... You can watch women in the 3 gun / run & gun competitions perform excellent runs. Also check out women CMP shooting videos. And plenty of women in my part the country shoot competitive trapshooting & CMP matches. I think the bottom line is training, practice, and plenty of range time.

  • This was an amazing trip that you have taken us through Nutnfancy. Can't wait til part 3. I am most certainly learning a lot. GREAT shooting there at the end with the barricades.

  • great video nutn please keep it up :D

  • gosh im not a perv at all but what he was doing with his fingers at 30:34 ....really

  • @TheTNPer LOL! Man, that's supposed to be a shooting camp.

  • thats why you run a AK and you wont need to practice failure drills lol.

  • needs to chunk that franken gun in the river

  • @ddifantis

He must have used sorry parts. My frankin gun never acts like that and i run it hard. Then again I put quality parts in it, Black Rain, Black Hole Weaponry, JP Enterprises, and Young manufacturing for the main parts.

  • OJ needs to run the Cmmg .22 kit in the m4 on full auto. that would be sick. great vid!

  • 5 people missed the like button.

  • Phenomenal video. Excellent tips from a great instructor. I know you say that you don't teach tactics, but seriously, there are lots of guys out there who if you put out a video about shooting tips and tactics specifically; they would learn and benefit alot.

I can understand why you would be hesitant. There's always haters and naysayers.

    You're the man nutnfancy.

  • I'm seeing lots of Magpul magazines

  • what rifle is that at 38:10

  • @MindBullets2142 Robinson Arms XCR

  • M1 Garand in the background at around 9:10

  • Great vid! Lots of good info that you never think about. Good job brother!

  • Sweet video! I really liked the clearance drills.....Keep 'em coming!

  • also good to see some south paws shooting would make my Ol' man proud.

  • that place is legit

  • that rifle officer jared is using, is that one of his duty guns?

  • @Crazycarrot650 i beleive so,

  • Why does "Frankengun" have a red dot on the side of his AR?

  • @Riflemanm16a2

Setup mainly used in 3 gun matches the scope is for medium and long range and the red dot is used up close by tilting the rifle to one side slightly.

  • 20:11 Why not shoot frangible rounds at steel inside a 100? Doesn't cost more then standard or cheap .223 ammo.

  • some of these cops worry me...

  • I wonder if the new Leatherman MUT would've helped that Franken-gun.

  • @jlunit416 puting the franken-gun in the bin would be the best thing for it. ;p

  • @TheDishD Zing!

  • @TheDishD But seriously, I think the MUT's bolt override tool is a nice feature.

  • @jlunit416 too tru bro i just dont think anything can help that franken-pile of shite, i would not trust my life to that sort of setup, KISS principle.

  • @TheDishD In the words of Nutn' himself, "That's a forum gun"

  • @jlunit416 Roger that, wise man is our Nutn' =], i wondering if the owner has see this vid and now done something about it, but some how i dont think he would have...

  • Does anybody knows what's the ladys gun on 10:00?

    Greetings

    Gangleri

  • @Gangleri33

    Berretta storm.

Anybody else sad that we didn't get to see a live fire version of the tactical reloads? I was looking forward to seeing "how its done" lol.

    Thanks Nutn!

  • @Gangleri33 That is a Beretta Cx4, it's a pistol caliber carbine.

  • Another awesome video!

  • Wolf ammo!

  • 6:22 wow that muzzle flash was insane.

  • Awesome vid, I recognized that patch on the pilot uniform, go Utah ANG!

  • Great video, I enjoyed the malfunctioning drills and barricade drills. I had never herd of slapping the charging handle forward to clear some of those shell sticks. And the advice on supporting the rear of the gun while behind the barricade is priceless. Thanks Nutnfancy for taking us along.

  • I love these videos. As for Frankengun guy, he needs to find the one thing he wants his gun to do and stick with it. He's got a magnified optic, a red dot. bipod, its all just too much and he needs to reevaluate his system.

  • I think the guy with the "Franken-Gun" should have paid more attention to getting a gun that works rather than trying to look like a space shuttle door gunner in his Multi-Cam and oversized rifle scope.

  • I'll bet anyone $50 that the issue with that gun is an undersized chamber. It would also account for the possible popped primers.

  • Looks like kyles weapon has a break on it as opposed to what looked mostly like suppressors on the others. probably has a lot to do with his stability and movement of the gun when fired.

  • Awesome training and fun!

  • Loved watching the Frakengun. That's why you never take an unproven firearm to an event you are paying for. That and why the huge enormous scope for a 5.56. An ACOG would have been better, and cost a lot less. What was the deal with the holo-sight on the side rail? Anyway's enough ragging on the guy.

Pretty good shooting there Nutn. I've heard nothing but good thing's about Safariland, glad to see most of them are true.

  • What is the instructor using for hearing protection?

  • wow Nutn, that 100 yard shots with the Entry Tactical was solid.Very Impressive heheheh, keep it rockin'

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome video! Can anyone tell me what Kyle's rifle/setup is? Looks really lean and mean.

  • Looks like the place they trained Road Warrior. If there was.

  • did you was a pilot?

  • that Robinson XCR is awesome!

  • Nutn thanks for bringing the camera along I really enjoyed seeing some of the training our law enforcement and military go though to protect us. special thanks to Oj as well.

Ps: keep us informed about that Kimber

  • Comment removed

  • i tried the malfunction clearing technique at 32:00 with a snap cap and jammed up the action really bad this was not a spent round so the tip wedged above the gas tube. I had to use a screw driver to clear the jamb. I need to re try this with a spent round. If some others of you try this let me know what works for you. Thanks

  • Wow that Frankengun...epic fail

  • Man, that CX4 is bulky

  • Hiking videos are most fun :)

  • The instructors seem they know there stuff. I think I prefer the teachings of the magpul dynamics team though. It really does show how even experts have there own renditions one way or another on how to accomplish a certain task like dealing with trouble shooting, and also magazine changes. I think that attending one of these events would be very use full. But, I think at the end, the user will figure out what works best for them. For me, its the steps taught by magpul dynamics. Great video.

  • @homedefender83 their*

  • Bullet Button in California :{

  • Nutnfancy keeping it real with his Mini 14. You rock dude. I'm glad you don't give a crap what people think.

  • Ha. I got 1001st view. Great vid Nutn, I wish I could do one of those courses, alas I have no carbine available.

  • i like how this guy says "shooter ready" the same way, everytime lol

  • Good stuff, thumbs up!

  • I sure hope he doesn't come up in a life or death situation and try's to use that gun it will get him killed.

  • "Rip rack ripper race motorcycle sumthin' "

    I loled

  • This is a fantastic video nutn! Great job covering this.

  • this video will be a GREAT reference vid thanks to all who let this be filmed again great vid

  • In a non-chalant way you finally showed what you do. lol I'm proud nutn!
