  • I've always pictured the News Flash announcer as a Fat Blue anything Muppet with a yellow suit, orange nose, brown hair and glasses.

  • Love Old MacDonald @ 3:24 getting dizzy! lol.

  • I love the way Kermit would make fun of the way Old McDonald says pool.

  • I remember when the News Flash about the bird who lives in two trees was up here. However, I have not been able to find it in a while. Does anyone know what happened to it?

  • u show them coach cow

  • I love it when Kermit says "Ya have a swimming puuuuuuuuuuul?" & "You got a jekuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzi, too?" Can't help but laugh. Ya can't hold it in. Don't say I spelled it wrong. That's how it sounds.

  • U have a Jacccuuuuzzi too? Lol!

  • I also remember seeing this sketch on an episode of "Play with Me Sesame" from the First Season.

  • Too bad this is the only appearance of the Muppet swan, huh?

  • "Im looking for Mr Old McDonald"

"Well look no further man, ya found him"

  • Love how Richard cracks up after Kermit says Pooooool. XD

  • A great lost classic. And a sketch that's more relevant today than it was twenty years ago. A great satire of yuppiedom.

It would have been great to see Jim Henson skewer the even more heinous examples of yuppiedom that followed in the 90s and 2000s.

  • I think they also did another Mcdonald news flash when a space ship landed on his farm.

  • Sesame Street Kermit Jim Henson Old MacDonald Richard Hunt Cow Dave Goelz Pig Martin P.Robinson Pig Goose Frank Oz Duck Kevin Clash 1990s

  • You mean:

    Kermit - Jim Henson

    Old MacDonald - Richard Hunt

    Cow - Dave Goelz

    Pig - Martin P. Robinson

    Goose - Frank Oz

    Duck - Kevin Clash

  • Right. Jerry Nelson also voiced the announcer, as always

  • It's a swan, not a goose, and I don't believe she's voiced by Frank Oz.

  • Who is she performed by, then?

I'll bet Dave Goelz isn't there either.

  • I think the swan is Jerry Nelson. He used a similar voice when performing a female teacher in "The People in Your Neighborhood". And you're right, the cow doesn't even sound like Goelz.

  • lol

  • At least the aerobics class cow teacher did not know Kermit was the reporter.

  • That's quite a new version for this song, and it's all thanks to you for posting this.

  • The swimming pOOOOOl?!? XD

  • Was the cow calling Kermit fat?

  • Yes

  • Darling all of my dives are SWAN DIVES. Priceless stuff.

  • This one is my favorite.

  • I like the video that I have not seen for a long time.

P.S.: I want to see Don Music writing "Old MacDonald."

  • Was that the one where Kermit leaves disgruntled and says "I'm going to milk the cows," or something like that? I vaguely recall him saying something about that.

  • Comment removed

  • To tell you the truth, I have not seen that Don Music skit in English because what I found is that the skit occurred in probably both the Spanish and Dutch versions.

  • You might be thinking of the clip where he's trying to talk about frogs and Gladys the cow comes in pretending to be a frog, and puts cow features on Kermit. At the end he mumbles "I'm going out to the pasture". Is that what you're thinking of?

  • GET BACK HERE FROGGIE.....eh..uh....yes madam XD

  • I loved the damn cow. Let's a get healthy, line up a Froggy!! You can start to lose all that tad pole fat!!! Funny exercise class GET A BACK HERE FROGGY!!!

  • These animals - Kermit and Old MacDonald, too - are inspiring. Makes the thought of getting in shape a lot of fun. I hope CTW releases a workout DVD.

  • Finally! I thought we'd never see this up here. I'm guessing this one is from 1989.

  • Kermit makeing fun of Old Macdonald's accent was priceless!

  • I saw this since I was A kid.

  • WOW! I haven't seen this in ages! Thank You Jon! :)

  • "You have a jacOOzi too?"XD

  • For 20 years I have been saying that and now I finally remember where I heard it. Swimming pOOOOL!

  • Who performed:

    The Tennis-Playing Pigs

    A Duck and a Swan

    A Cow Instructor

  • I know Marty Robinson played one of the pigs, but I really can't tell who performed the rest of the animals.
