GREAT JOB BRUCE! "Born To Be Wild" is one of my all-time favorite songs, and Bruce really does a great job here. I will always be a fan of Bruce! Also, Bruce has that energy, who else do you know that can play for 3 1/2 hours? With Bruce, you always get your money's worth seeing him on concert.
Thank you for posting the set list. HOG Fest '08 in Milwaukee was the best time I have ever had. The music was great, and Bruce was the absolute high point. Can't wait for his nex tour.
I certainly hope so - this HarleyFest was the best party ever, and Bruce and E-Street were beyond amazing. I know they are doing the half-time show at the Superbowl, but I don't see anything on their tour schedule YET. I can't imagine they won't tour again.
Stever, your comment is moronic. Clearly you are not a biker, nor a Springsteen fan - crawl back into the olden days, please. We were 100,000 or more bikers from all over the world. Do you see anyone in the audience complaining? Bruce rocked for nearly 4 hours! - certainly the high point of the greatest party ever! Don't mock what you obviously don't understand.
stever71 your are an idiot nice try bruce? he was not trying to be better than the orig he was trying to please his long time fans! and he was at harley fest hello!! the perfect song! maybe u just don't get it! as far as born in the usa he does have thousands of songs besides that one! not a bruce fan who cares! why r u on the site insulting an amazing talented man who gives everything he has to his fans in concert!! so stever nice try but u r stupid!!!
I agree with you. A lot of these new found Springsteen fans are idiots. I was recently at a concert and he did Spirit in the Night and the dip shits behind me were complaining because they had never heard of that song. My advice, don't go and let the real springsteen fans have the ticket!
yeah ur right! hello if u dont know spirit in the night well ur not a die hard fan and don;t know much about bruce! and as far as complaining about a song he sings in concert u must be 12 please leave the bruce concerts for the real fans and go see backstreet boys i hear they are back!! thanks kwizzie!
It was a show for HARLEY DAVIDSON. C'mon, he HAD to sing this one. He's not trying to be Steppenwolf, he's giving the crowd a fun, familiar Biker song. He's giving and giving and giving. The last song in an almost 4 hour set. Cut the guy some slack, seriously.
He's awesome. I live in Germany and went to the concert in duesseldorf, and because i'm actually an exchange student in america i wished to visit a concert in america, but there wasn't one in the near
I wish I could have been here for the end of the Magic tour. I was in Anaheim for the Tom Morello "Tom Joad" appearance in April and I am still tingling!!
Thank you for this video and for holding your camera for almost 4 hours! This whole event was the very best time I've EVER had! I will carry it in my heart forevever. For the person who said the crowd behaved like it was a funeral clearly wasn't there. I've never seen people rock out like they did for The Boss! Thanks again - great memories.
wonderful, i was fortunate to be there for the 105th, rode in the parade for statesville, n.c. hog club, you did a great job and will continue to watch this video, bless you for holding the cam that long and thank you for sharing so those of us can once again relive what we expericened that night
yeah i agree this was no funeral if u were there and said that then u must have been drunk or just stupid!!! what kinda of concerts do u go too!! i was there the crowd was loud and haveing a great time don't come on this site and put down bruce fans we take it very personal!! u must not be a fan so go talk your sh-- somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone have the footage of "You can look (but you better not touch)" from the harley concert? the dialouge between springsteen and van Zant was awesome. I would like to see it if someone has it. Thanks! Fucking awesome concert, best i had ever seen.
But let me ask something: this is the FINAL song of the FINAL concert on a 1+ year tour, and the crowd behaves like it's some kind of funeral...? Where is the action people? No wonder Bruce keeps doing looong legs in Europe...
A funeral? Are you serious? I suppose you weren't there. This was his third encore. I was in the pit since 3:00 p.m. and survived 2 warm up bands. He played for nearly 4 hrs and we were just getting started. You can't always judge the concert from the video. There were over 100,000 people there until the end. This was the greatest concert ever!!! And I've been going to Bruce concerts since 1978.
I'm sure Europe has its share of old farts and you don't notice them vegetating. Some of Bruce's solo performances at the D&D show I went, I had trouble sitting down.. He's just that good live!
Sorry to say this but his US audiences are, in the main, POOR and not worthy of his greatness. For proof, check out footage from, say, his Italian and Spanish audiences for TRUE appreciation of the man. They show as much heart, passion and energy as the Boss himself. In my opinion, the Bossman deserves so much better from his own (sleepy) home fans.
No doubt. I saw him in Madrid in 1988 and just missed him this year in Spain. Seen him seven times in the US. Just watch the DVD, Live in Barcelona if you want to see how the crowds are there. Saw him twice on this tour
Milwaukee in March and Great show in St. Louis a few weeks ago.
Legend has it that when jazz great Art Tatum would play in a club people would say " God is in the House" Now, I guess the same can be said of Springsteen wherever he chooses to play.
"I hope you know it" - that's really funny, Bruce! And in the end good news concerning the future: "We'll be seeing you, we're only just getting started" ! Rock on, Bruce!
Thanks so much for posting this quickly. Was great to wake up and see what Bruce did last night. Was surprised to see him close with Born to be Wild and was so glad to see it posted and to see his closing comments on the tour. Thanks again! Have a great rest of the weekend!

Very much a "European" experience as EVERYONE was off their ass and rocking.

There is NO arguement.
