@Mrvideosandgames The wind won't effect the helicopter but you can use it to make the rider feel like the helicopter is pushing air! :D

how do you "glue" things together ? and why make a speed up toturial?...

@Bseatreje You go to the object property menu and click "glue". I didn't want to waste time showing me meticulously align all the pieces, I assume you know what a helicopter is shaped like and all you have to do is make what you think it looks like. Just make sure each piece is glued to every piece touching it. LB + A to select more objects

how do you make the rotor spin? cause i had the force rotation thing then i glued a fan to the top nd the platform to the bottom one then it just went flying everywhere

Hey friend, great tutorial. Just to clarify, when you are attaching the wheels & the chopper to the rotation hinges, you are using forced rotation hinges, not free rotations hinges, correct? And if that is the case, which speed of forced rotation works best for you?

@Slobbert Yes, i recommend using fast rotation hinges. You can make it out of free rotation hinges but going downhill. I have a method for making free rotation hinged vehicles (particularly smaller ones like an elevator) go up and down but I haven't seen a large enough demand for that yet.

hey awesome video. i personally am trying to make a train that can run on the rails. having trouble with rotation hinges etc could maybe do with a chat on xbox live just to clear a few things. im loving the helicopter its very inspiring as to what can be done with a little imagination and trials hd lol my gamertag is optimus heinz

@cyllocybin that's hilarious! I was doing something like a while ago but being a detail freak I stopped because apparently a train with 9 carts and towns are too much for trials lol. I am still planning my final 7 tracks for Trials before I stop track making altogether, and one is a train track! like u no the way u glued the back blanks together and then u glued them agian to the rotation hing to make the small wings..  and then u glued them to the helecopter and it was away from it.. how did u move it when it was all glued together... mine wont move ??? PLZ TELL ME THANX!!

i get the idea of it but i found once i glue lots of parts 2gether i cant glue it to anything else! i can glue bits to it but not it to anything else! n also once iv glued somethin, i cant move them individually n i noticed u did! either that or its just too fast for me to keep up lol

I'm not able to glue my free rotation hinges to anything. The option is not even highlighted?? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot glue hinges to objects like you can with triggers, you must select the object and glue it to one side of the hinge, then select the other object(s) and glue to the opposing hinge. If you are still confused I have a car tutorial and a tutorial where I make a bridge, both in which demonstrate what I'm talking about.

@SyntheticsV2 Thanks for the response. I make my heli. It was all physics enabled. I got the tires glued to the free rotation hinge. I go to glue the heli to the other side of the hinge. It's not even an option to glue the heli to anything. ? I'm so frustrated.

@surfshark13 Select the helicopter by pressing LB then A. By doing this you select only the object your cursor is on, not the entire glued object, and this will allow you to glue again
