@jo3rip what's a "douce"? Oh you must mean "douche." If you're gonna insult someone you should at least make sure you don't look like what you're calling them ha ha. Owned.
Comcast sucks balls, end of story, they make horrible prices for internet service + cable and on internet they just use power boost so its a rip off.... They dont have high speed internet they dont have nothing, they dont have good dl at all its just "POWER BOOST" that lasted 10 seconds.... And BTW they stalk ur downloading like they did to me so Comcast, 2 words for u: YOU SUCK too bad i am stuck with u because Verizon isnt available for my area and Verizon is allot better!
You know, people love underground service because god forbid they should be able to see any of the service wires feeding their area. Looks to me like the reason for the exposed cable is due to the landscapers cutting the wires and the cable company having to come out and repair the damage. Maybe if people would call for locates before they dig, they could avoid these types of situations. Just saying......
i can see be the water marks on the ped (the thing with all the cables in it) that there was a flood in the area and the system was obviously damaged. also you have pictures of and obvious temporary fix, (the 500 cable into the 320), till the system could be fixed correctly. you should be thanking them for getting services up and running so fast instead of crying
you are retarded. the orange wires are dish contractors, the tech didn t pull out the wires cuz they would rip up your yard, then you would be bitching about that and theres no chance of that cover going on because you have left all that other shit run out. don t blame the last guy that was there, blame the first guy that left that top off, and ran more cable. btw its 75 an hour for sat. to bury cable but thats discussed before install. you shoulda known better. dumb fuck,.
@sirushimself , Umm the orange cable is UGRG6 (underground ) its rated for conduct and direct bury it is used almost exclusively by cable companies, and no matter who did the job, its was extremely poor job . and the 500 line coupled directly
directly to rg6 without even a weather grommet is just sad.
Cut the cable thats coming out the ground....wait.. you probably wanted that one sticking out incase you get bored...
You should be spending more time cleanin up your yard than making retarded videos.. I'm about to replay the video and run around my apartment complex.....
Jesus That is clearly a temp installation. Some one was prolly digging without locates and cut the main line and now they have to run lines over the ground until the construction crew can get new mains in the ground.
Well, when we moved recently, Comcast became my only choice as U-Verse is not available on my block. Dumbass technician came out and installed two HD receivers instead of two HD DVRs that I ordered (and was clearly on the job order). I also had to go behind him on the "professional" installation of my internet. The only good thing I have to say about them is that their internet has gotten significantly faster..it is actually faster than U-Verse. I pay for 16 MBPS; I am averaging 28.
as a former cable guy i wil tell you this the complex is responsible for the line going from the ped to the apartment which your condo association has to pay for
why do they leave the cable just sitting out there? Actually if i was waitng on them like i do mediacom (Their service sucks. While writing this my internet went out two times.) Id get a volt meter and find the signal and tap to it.
GOD comcast bought out our local cable company. we switched to uverse. then i open up their cable thing outside of my house and cut every cable up with a wire cutter.
Analogue cable is rubbish;poor quality pix, awful mono sound on music/movie/entertainment channels(unless your network receives and encodes stereo soundtracks from satellite/terrestrial and puts them in NICAM digital stereo) and is a poor deal generally.
here where I live, with comcast analoge, many channels are in Mono even the locals. there are also like 65 channels and many are Locals and a lot of them looks bad signal. the only one I know is CNSPAN 2 [channel 4 and sometimes changes to a digital channel of sports :D] the weather channel [it is really chanel 98, not channel 30] and some little others.
Unfortunately those pictures of the outside cabling look terribly familiar. Thats how mine look at my apartment! Comcast sucks. I had comcast come out and turn on my cable and it took over a month before I could watch TV. There are exposed cables for the whole apartment building running through the grass. That kind of work makes them look really unprofessional. The problem may be that they buy out smaller cable providers and inherit their shitty work. Still, cover the damn wires
wtf? ppl have a right to get what they pay for! i had comcast for 2 months. i nevr had a good signal so watching tv was pointless, my phone always went straight to voicmail when ppl tried to call and they ran the cords through my lawn and tacked it down so i coulnt possibly mow my own lawn, they tied my old direct tv wire arround theirs then sent me a $700 bill. im completely in my rights to complain, fuck comcast and fuck you!
Hey, I didn't post the video, I'm just trying to explain it and problems any company faces when hiring off the street. Do you have anything constructive to add? I guess person who posted this cares, or they would not have posted it?
It's not Comcast's fault, "COMCAST" is just a name, a label, I feel bad for the Roberts Family, and Mr. Burke, that have all these folks that could pass for crack addicts working for them in what is really a technical operation, you can't take Mcdonald's type workers and make them think like an engineer, I.E. technical problem solving. It's also a generation thing, it's a different work ethic really, a ghetto mentality, all about being hip?, "what up dog", "what up money".
The good people who actually call back, risk being fired because then they have now become part of the problem...my manager was just let go for a various reasons, not that however...he'd call me to call people that had asked for him, the manager...I'd call them, they would ask "hey, I was expecting a call from Mr. XXXXX, not you." I'd help the customer, which is what we do once something has reached my level, see, it's all about keeping your plate empty and pushing things off to others.
They use the power of high priced TV to advertise their crap service that doesn't work. If you want to see why they're professional installation has less to be desired, go look at comcast jobs and the qualifications to be a comcast tech.
@danny2tek seriously? Tvs are designed for those voltages. Its fine

Very poor way to run wires any can run over the wires splice a wire for free cable tv. All the tab and boxes should be locked and not open like that.

Yeap! Comcast pulls the same crap in my area. They don't burry the cables. They just lay them on the ground for lawn mowers to run over.
