I like this song... Your nice playing almost makes me want to learn the low whistle, but I stink with wind instruments. My brother plays Celtic songs on his flute though: amnesiaman89
I have yet to look at many of your other videos but I already feel like I have something in common, being that I live in a part of the US with no sense of culture, you live in Malaysia, and we both like playing Celtic music anyways. High five for you!
awesome, when you have one and you can play it i would wish we could play together :p im an whistler by my self :) got a lot of flutes and 2 recorders
thnx so much for this vid ^^. I was watching your fingering and now i managed to pick it up myself. Which is great because i love this song. It's a simple tune when you break it down but sounds amazing, the best kind in my humble opinion
That would be cool!!! I fell under the spell of "farewell to uist" the moment I heard it but was just starting to play whistle then and knew no ornamentation at all so my version sounded really flat. I'll try practising it now with ornaments and will also post it))
Hey, some music of my friend Fred! Well done!

Sounds just wonderful! Liked the slides and overall soft and mild manner of playing - thing that my own playing lacks desperately..))
Have heard about "Farewell to uist"? Also beautiful tune that usually comes before "lochaber badger" in sessions.

I thought about getting a Susato low whistle once. I really like the sound of your low G! It has a nice, clean sound!

I will subscribe to that!
But you have to string a bunch of those into a playlist so I can play it like a radio.
