  • GTA SAN ANDREAS

    BOUNCE FM BABY

  • Heck yeah! Classic song!

  • they look like a bunch of homos, but that still doesn't change the fact, that this song is awesome

  • ok? but i guarantee that they have fucked more girls then you have ever talked to. watch your mouth, talking about legends like that kid.

  • Man, u'r a real G!

  • fa sho.

  • Dear Evelyn "Champagne" King! I need

    your opinion.

    Sandra Dee Lawson.

  • , it has to do with my lament at how Funk is no longer a genre. That many think it was clown-y at times. It wasn't. It required musicianship and a certain state of mind a way of life. Why do you think Prince was the way he was? He lived that look all the time! Hard to describe, Im sure its going over many of your heads.

  • wendileona! I think you better write some

more down here, because all my words

is all over the You Tube's website.

  • Hey! wendileona! You know, you've just

gave me some Idea? Since all my words

is all over the You Tube's, I'am going to

write Evelyn "Champagne" King a letter.

  • Do you see my words on You Tube? It's

already on another You Tube's websites.

  • ...then...sometime in the mid 90's as soon as gansta-thug-rap came on the scene, which by the way is NOT Funk, radio station programmers and music marketing teams started referring to Funk as "Old School", a sort of re-marketing it as such.

Especially urban radio and then unfortunately it stuck and spread. Now kids refer it to Old School. My opposition to the label has nothing to do with age-ism, or fear of being old or anything like that...(see again above...)

  • Which ones is not?

  • yeeeeeeeesss!!!

  • Tulsa boys nice

  • Its not Old School its actually FUNK. I know you didnt know... thats okay, its understandable, Funk is no longer being done.

  • What part of the planet are you from?

That is the old school funk music.

  • Funk was never "Old School" it was simply FUNK before the knuckleheads who came up with the term branded it that.

  • What are you talking about? Give me

    example.

  • May I ask, what difference does that make,

whether it is the old school funk or not?

You either like the music, or you don't.

    What's your point?

  • I could say, I agree with you. But, what are

going to do about it. It's alittle too late for

you to start complaining, now. You've

should've said something during eightie's. Now, this is 2009, going on 2010, now. Now, move on. Please!

  • sandralawson18 - seems you're sincere in wanting to know. Well, at the time music like this and say Prince and Rick James, Cool & The Gang, Zapp and MTume an so on were setting the charts and streets on fire with Funk, it was simply that Funk. A progression of what James Brown started and George Clinton ran with.

It was a valid, hot, incredible genre. ... (continued above)

  • To tell you the truth, I don't know what funk

is either. I don't even remember anybody

ever mention the word disco until late

    seventhtie's.

  • You know, everysince they took KGFJ,

formerly known as THE KAT, 1580 K-DAY.

and K-ACE stations off the air from us,

music is not the same anymore.

  • So wendileana! I do agree with you on

    that one. 100%

  • You know, music is not what it uset be,

anymore. Shoot! At time during the sixtie's,

    seventhtie's, and eightie's, when music

    was very cool back then.

  • Don't forget Evelyn "Champagne" King.

Because, she's apart of the music, too.

  • Hey! wendileona! Do you know I slept

    with Tiger Woods?

  • tha bomb old school music

  • satan 666 we we meet 2012 hahah

  • yea he was.. most the shows was pretty good glad i watched it

  • Fantastic song!

  • Story of my freakin "love life" before my wife

  • whats he mean by that, ''you droped a bomb on me''

  • Maybe Charlie was trying to say, she or

he broke his heart. Maybe that could be

it, if that's what he said.

bad a** music video. Awesome song too.

  • I've had this shit stuck in my head for days. That there's a bass line that just CANNOT be denied. So rad.

  • Always listened to this song in the 80's still an awsome song

  • I didn't say white music sucked before them, though it mostly did except for heavy "borrowing". I'm saying that at the time TGB and K&tG "hit", American white pop's top [non-borrowing] were John Denver, Captain & Tenille, and Elton John in his slow ballad [worst] years. Punk was fighting for its life even then, and crossovers were all that kept it from dying in the U.S. [see also Blondie], and the remainder had all swung to slow ballads like E. John. [cont.]

  • Alright, I'm not a fan of any pre 70s music but that's just my personal taste I'm not going to claim music sucked before then.

  • /

v Me to man! Me to!

  • "you were my pills...you were my thrills...you were my hope...you were my smoke...you dropped a bomb on me ..baby!".....this has got to be the most memorable song of mine growing up. It never gets old and you cant help but get up and move when you hear it!

  • Black People Do Actually Have Better Songs [Coming From A White Perspective.

  • @LuciferSpirit & from a black perspective, you're generalizing

  • At least im not Supremisizing White people. :>

  • bout 25years ago, bought this single album for about 50cents at a second hand store. first album i ever bought

  • Best 50 cents you ever spent my friend, they don't make jams like this no more, i'm over 40 & when i go out and hear tunes from this age ( late 70's early to mid 80's, i go bannanas ) peace out

  • yyeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

  • great song!!! great beat!!!

  • Comment removed

  • ah good old GTA:SA memories xD

  • [PART2] New Wave only managed to originally earn its niche because Devo was seen as that era's Weird Al. When New Wave began to borrow, too, we ended up with the [mostly British] fusion years. [see The English Beat, etc.] As for rock, a teen guitar-rock magazine [circa 1986] asked guitarists ranging from Keith Richards to Slash who their great influences were. ALL, without exception, either named a) a black blues great or b) someone else on the list who had already done so.

    Defense rests. :D

  • hahahhahhaha

  • Great early hip hop videos before they condescended to rants that glorifed racism, violence against police, sexual perversion, stupidity and sleaziness beginning in late 1990's. Today rap and most hip hop music is so sub-human trash that most minorities are slave to their condescending language.

  • The Gap Band is the bomb. I loved their music. Thanks for the post and the memories.
