There are tons of doctors under investigation in Florida. I work at a pharmacy in Georgia and we get tons of bogus scripts from these clinics in Florida. It is ridiculous the length these people go to in order to get pain meds when they don't even need them.
I live in Louisiana, and over the last 4 years or so a large number of the local pain management clinics have been closed down. Lots of them certainly were prescribing to any person who walked in the door, but the problem is that now when someone with serious back problems comes into a doctor's office, they have serious problems getting medicated like they have been for years. I know that lots of folks drive to both Florida and Texas to get their pain killers now, but not everyone can do so
As far as I know, throughout the Palm Beach area. Not sure if you're familiar with the area.Search Google Maps for, "Pain Management" or something similar. Then navigate the map view to the far Southeast coast of Florida and zoom in. There are literally dozens of these places all the way from Miami through Ft. Lauderdale and into West Palm Beach. All I can say is the following: "Don't be a junkie, and use the medicine wisely.
