You are so right , I am over 40, and I hate how things have change. I will continue to be the classy lady I was taught to be. And know it or not there are still some of us holding on to it. Staying true to the 70's.
This is one of the baddest cuts of all time & very, very hard to find........considering all the greatest hits cd's the Isley's have out now, this jam & hurry up & wait is'nt on any one of those greatest hits albums......odd. Yeah, Jasper is a beast on them key boards.......Ron needs to reach out to him & get the ball rolling again......even if it's just for one song.
@babyygirll1231 not really if your having trouble finding this check out JandR music .com they are located in New York City t this song is From is the 1981 album 'Grand Slam" and it should be available individually or combined with another Isley Brothers album
@jy1723 Amen Jay! sad how these females are today. and i'm a 41 yr old female saying this! quite sad how society has portrayed how a female "should be" in this day and age. i miss the 70s-80s
This is one of the best slow jams that isley brothers ever put out.You see im a huge fan of theirs, ive got all of their stuff going back to the 50's.Right now ronald isley is in prison for tax evasion,we"ll all be glad when he gets out.I myself am a songwriter, and the isley brothers are a huge influence.
smoove groove early 80's one of my top 5 isleys hits.Ronald serenades the track, but the guitar really peaks. The bassline deep, mesmerizing, it makes you want to drive under the moon with a cutie
I think that this one of many songs, has inspired R Kelly. I just feel a R Kelly groove.
