A word of warning, make sure you do this right; because if you don't, you can lose your Pokemon or get a bad clones.

Bad clones are fun if you like glitches, but not so fun if you want to keep the Pokemon you cloned and use it.

@simoom101 - Honestly, I don't really know what I did. :\ I know my timing was slightly off for "turning off the power" but I'm not quite sure on the specifics. Besides- there are "good" bad clones which can be used for cheats and move swaps and such, and there are bad clones that are just kinda bad- or fun to mess with.

Either way, I've seen some tutuorials on the "good" bad clones on YouTube- you should start there. :> If you're having trouble, I can help you find a vid.

I remember I would spend HOURS trying to clone and trade pokemon. After that I would breed moves on eggs. Eventually I finally started in crystal with Pichu, Larvitar, cyndaquil, chickorita, totodile, and abra.

I loved that team :)

@ninjameid11 Johto u can pick a starter then trade to get the other 2 or do the 3 starter cheat and the kanto u have to trade for them from blue, red, yellow

i have tried this and i put item on a pokemon, put it in box, switched box, turned it off when it says saving. but guess what? i ended up with a switched box and no cloned pokemon.

Are you sure that u put the pokemon u wanted to duplicate into an empty box?....and u have to make sure that u turn off your game as soon as it says saving dont turn off the power
