As for Capcom they moved up making crossover titles with Namco and Marvel.At least Capcom pays attention to some of their older titles and they work outside fighting games. Yeah you kinda forgot to mention the sprites look about 10 times better than in the later Capcom vs SNK games. The voice sets for the characters also also THE best of all SNK games and one of the best of capcom's in my opinion.

This game is pretty popular in europe, pretty hard to get and expensive even.

My only real problem with the roster was this.

There are 18 characters for Capcom, and 17 for SNK (this is including Evil Ryu and Wild Iori). Shouldn't the number of fighters for each company be the same? Why not give SNK an extra character to make it even?

SNK made one that didn't suck so much - SNK vs Capcom match of the millenium on Neo Geo Pocket Color. It's actually compatible with this reviewed game. The one you are talking about - SNK vs Capcom Chaos, no? - is probably the one by SNK Playmore which tbh I don't even consider the same as the old SNK. The reason for that is that SNK by that time lost a lot of their talent(they still don't have a lot of their original fighting game staff back).
