at one point Mir (in second fight) knocks out Lesnar with a knee...however, Brock already had ahold of him and is so massive, he took him down...from there, ragained composure and won...Lesnar can be knocked out...go Carwin!

Ahh ok i get ya, from what i saw it looked like the punch cought him off balance at the right time during footwork transition, Kongo fell and was ready to get right back up but was a little confused as to what to do with Mir storming towards him like a bat out of hell, too little too late though and was sub'd as result. When you are up against Mir, you can't just sit there and be confused on the ground, that is his territory i guess. A matter of personal opinion i guess.

Pride was the name of the organisation. It was bought out by the UFC and yes they did have open weight tournaments and Wanderlei di Fight Cro Cop.

anybody from any given weight class can fight anybody as long as taht fight is not in a place where they have a commission forcing them to fight under certain rules and guidelines. in Japan you can allow practically anything because theres no laws or sanctioning bodies forcing rules on MMA. so yeah Wanderlei fought Cro Cop twice but in Japans PRIDE FC.

at one point Mir (in second fight) knocks out Lesnar with a knee...however, Brock already had ahold of him and is so massive, he took him down...from there, ragained composure and won...Lesnar can be knocked out...go Carwin!

I dunno if I'd say that Nog is over the hill just yet. He looked like his old self against Couture, we'll have to see him against someone like Kongo or Velasquez. But personally, i think if he stays in the shape he was in, no one in the UFC's heavyweight division will be able to stop him.

Well, I think against Mir he said he either had or was recovering from a staph infection...so i can understand why he had such a shitty performance. Honestly, he didn't look too good before that either, except his fight with Sylvia...looked like the usual nogueira haha. But i think now if he stays in shape he can take anyone i ntha division...but yeah, eh i gave up on Wand and Cro Cop a while back...Wand just started looking terrible at the 06 PRIDE GP...lost those kicks and knees ya know....
