Yeah. The guy in the Gi does Kyokushin Karate, which is known as a battle tested hardcore style. You can usually spot the practitioners through the Kanji on the Gi and the Gi's are usually short sleeved.

It's in the credits at the end but I'll say it anyway. The song is Koe -by The「BACK HORN」

all of the back horns music is great, they're always trying something new. This is one of their only songs that sound like this..their music's normally a bit tougher lol

The guy in the red trunks is Yasuhiro Kazuya, and yes, the wheels kicks are very effective and are one it KOs if they land right. It's hard to land but can be done. IF you look at Kyokushin Karate fights on youtube you will find a few of the KOs that came about that type of kick.

In K-1? no not to my knowledge. But it's still good to try them since if you fall down you get a speeration and stood back up, if you land correctly then you KO the person. I don't see anything wrong with attempting them. I think it's a good idea as long as you know how to do them. Not like all the grapplers who fight in MMA that do them just for shock factor.
