  • This is sooooooo much EXACTLY the reason why I love YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!!!!!

And this song and the performance of the band and ? himself is the stuff of musical perfection. It transcends time and genre.

  • Playing a bit fast there.....

  • @frugalaudio Yes, I agree

  • @frugalaudio Well there's only so much you can do to adjust the speed on these...and by that I mean you can't! To many tear drops for one heart.

  • Definitely side A. Lol

  • love this classic song...what a cute player

  • WOW!!! Thanks for posting....

  • Love it!

  • Ace track, good dance track too.

  • LOVE the G.E. record player, BTW!

  • THANK GOD i've been trying to find the original version of this song forever. all i can find on youtube is covers, live shows, and people butchering the keyboard riff on casios. so thank you!

  • The ORIGINAL version was on the black and red CAMEO label 45rpm, which I have in my jukebox.

  • @frangiul13 Yep--Cameo-Parkway. I have the LP.

  • This is the cut!!!

  • yo tenia ese disco de 45, haha lo tocaba muchismo! alla por los 70's .

    Bravo!

    Gracias!

  • The Abkco reissue...it doesn't fade out early like the Cameo hit version. I bought this exact record for the long ending. Great song.

  • Thought this was by The Stranglers?

  • RE DarkAngel182: the stranglers version was a remake from 1990

  • Ok... this song creeps me out. And I don't know why. But it ALWAYS have.

  • It was used in some adaptation of some Stephen King book, if that helps.

  • ohh yeah great song!

  • This is really sweet, thanks for the flashback fresh!

  • YouTube is worth over 1 billion dollars.

'96 Tears' heard on a genuine 45 record player? Priceless.

  • @muziqmonster thats a great comment

  • Fuck yeah.

  • Love the song, some of the best chicano soul music of the 60's, Yeah Baby!

  • The memories this brings - not so much of the record as the record player! I had one just like it thirty five years ago - found most of the records I had back then but there's something about that machine that clinched it at the time. Amazing.

  • very cool! I love that song
