Miracles have always happened on the earth, under many, many religions. Look into the Oracle of Apollo at Delphi, that's 800 years of recorded miracles. So things can do happen.

Why should we be incarnated thousends of times - when we even can not remember our deeds and sins - does that make sense? Are we incarnated in animal beings? How can the Soul incarnate in animals? What's about CHRIST? What kind of Incarnation was he?
The Karma of one; does it make sense? Well there is some kind of truth in that teaching. That every deed has also a reaction. But does it make sense that we have a bad Karma and do not remember our deeds? How can we change and repent when we even don't know what we hae done?
@adamantis4657 No, of course it is not possible that there are thousands of different gods, one acting against the other. So I think we can agree that there is either one God (or one set of gods if we believe a religion like Hinduism) or none. In other words, there is ONLY ONE TRUTH. I gather that, according 2u (stop me if im wrong), the christian God is THE TRUTH and that all other Gods are false. And by extension, all other BELIEVERS of other faiths are wrong. But they think the same of you.
Through INTENSE study and re-search TRUTH CAN BE FOUND. Take all book u can get, pray, fast, look at all philosophies, all religions, compare them, ....search with open heart and u will find.
OTHERWISE THE BIBLE TELLS NOT THE TRUTH: Search and u will find, knock and the door will be opened. etc..

I see a God that makes mistakes and regrets (Genesis 8.21, 11.6, many other places) yet apparently He is supposed to be all-knowing and infinite. I see little Truth in the bible. Can God speak? Can God hear? Has God ARMS? Can God "take" dust? etcc.. NO OF COURSE NOT - those things are METAPHORS for higher realities.

Even great Saints had problems with the "style" of the bible. Because it is written in a simply manner. But when u get into the text u will see that BEHIND the simply style, there is a mystery revealed.
St. Jerome in the beginning absolutly did not like the bible. For him it was primitve written. After he was enlightened by CHRIST. He started to read it, again and again......in the end he said; that there is no other text so full of hidden beauty

You were probably born in Orthodox church, I converted because Christ visited me and showed me His love! I've had such intimate moments with my Lord, I had to give up some stuff for His Truth. Also, as many Orthodox monks and theologians will attest, we need to be careful about our spirit when judging other traditions, it must *all* be done for and in the love of Christ, which draws together. Pride drives apart. The Good Shepherd wants to draw all unto Himself. Specifically, Jesus condemns calling a brother an "idiot". Many Protestants love Christ.

I was once an Orthodox Christian of the Greek church until I began vast research on religion and after being confronted with fundamentalists realized the reality. Atheism is not a set of beliefs, its merely not believing in any religion. Maybe there is or maybe there isnt a God but the bible is to flawed to be Gods mandate. However, as a Greek I like the Orthodox Church because Byzantio is awesome and it helped preserve our culture against Turkic and Frankic onslaughts...

I saw them personally, they climb up everything that is blessed; icons, crosses, evangelium, but most they try to climb on the feastday icon of the dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God. They behave like the people - they try to kiss the icon and show reverence to the Queen of all creation.
It is also symbolic because in Eden a snake tempted Eve and throuhg the Theotokos the curse is set aside.

I'm sure the snakes could be followed when they leave. even if they disappear into rocks we have tiny cameras which can see inside the rocks. also, how can a country who professes to be so christian, treat stray animals so terribly? and why is there is so much corruption in greece? lastly, i do not see a cross on the heads of the snakes. i think its a gimmick. i'm curious to see what kind of responses i get to this...

Great video. Too bad all these ignorant protestants, that are protesting against the Appostles Orthodox church have nothing better to do than harrass the original church, but we were warned of these woves in sheeps clothing. @adamantis4657 Actually we have manny converts from protestantism that became Orthodox in my church, one was a baptist minister, and one was an evangelical minister-lol. Now when leaders of protestant churches leave thier faith to become Ortrhodox, that should tell us saomething!!! Orthodoxy is the One True Apostolic Church!!!

@kayaburning As a former Protestant, I can tell you that communicating in the love of Christ is far more effective than being insulting. Also, as many Orthodox monks and theologians will attest, we need to be careful about our spirit when judging other traditions, it must *all* be done for and in the love of Christ, which draws together. Pride drives apart. The Good Shepherd wants to draw all unto Himself. Specifically, Jesus condemns calling a brother an "idiot". Many Protestants love Christ.

Truth is I love all Christians, and I have met manny good Protestants, I've just reached a point where I'm sick of the insults and uneducated comments I always see on these Orthodox videos such as being asked why we "worship" Marry, and icons"? "Don't we know we should only worship God"?-lol Questions like that. People should do some actual Orthodox research if they want to know about Orthodoxy instead of asking someone non-orthodox

it is on the island of Kefalonia. it's very difficult to find addresses becase most of those roads don't even have street signs.
just go to island and ask anybody for directions and you will find it easy.
