the sounds are amazing !!! where did you get them ? so hope i have understood that correctly, the train does not make any accelerating or descelerating sounds, its a mp3 or wav sound file played by a computer which senses the entrance of the train ?
@MistikFistik737 correct, my computer controls the trains and plays the sounds through computer speakers behind the station. I got the sounds off a video I made of S-Bahn trains in Germany
I am planning on making something like this also. How do you play the sound when a train enters/leaves the station? Is it with a light-sensitive switch, or is it manually operated with a computer, or... And is the sound in mp3 format, or is it something else? I already have my own recordings, so the sound itself is not a problem!
@bgezobita the computer plays the sounds when the trains enter and leave the station. The computer controls the trains and knows where they are using track sensors. The files are mp3 or wav files and the computer can also ask another computer on the network to play sounds on demand so I use cheap old win 98 machines to produce sounds at various places on the layout. Each PC brings another two speakers which I place in different parts of the layout. Other sounds are farm animals, birds, etc.
@DaleSchultz Thanks! Which software do you use for that then?? So the pc recognises the position of the train with sensors in the track that form a section!
I am planning to make the Brussels Congress station, which is also an underground station.
@TheOkenok Rückwand is Holz.
Great Station! I want to build the same station at home. I have got a Märklin analog system. I have a request: Can you give me pictures of the station? Thank you!/Danke schön!

Passt also nicht so ganz... ;)
