How about a 917/30? (Driver Mark Donohue, American) (and don't just Google it ) BTW I own an '04 GT3 and participate in track days with my neighbor's '07 Z06 and it is quite a handfull to run against. The GT2 Oreca Vipers were unbeatable until they retired them and it now looks the Corvette C6R has filled the slot.

Yes, the long tail. 30 years later still nothing has outdone the top speed of one was clocked on the Mulsanne straight at 271 mph / 433 km/h! If I am not mistaken it also still holds the fastest lap time. How I would have loved to have seen a factory sponsored Vette or Camaro compete back then...

s your offer good against other cars? I have a mostly stock 2002 BMW M Coup (engine is 100% stock). The GT3 can easily take an M Coup (at better than twice the cost, BTW).I am in the tri state area. Ever heard of quality and refinement? Yes that car cost alot of money. But that car will last four times longer than your truck, had many more hours of engineering put into it, is a beautiful piece of art, and is more agile on a road course than a drag strip. Learn about refinement and do yourself a favor. Yes I like trucks, but only for what they are built for. That Porsche is a superior machine in every aspect of automotive engineering.
