It's as if they were there to take him to the mental wing, of which may require force if they have enough signatures from family members to obtain a warrant to do so. The taser has saved a lot of lives and prevented a lot of injuries however, please please please use your head before jumping straight to taser deployment.

@commonsenseisgone1 As a paramedic, I can tell you first hand, tasing a patient delays all O.R. surgeries and most E.R. procedures as it raises the bodies core temp as well as elevates white blood cell count drastically. As with everything in life, there is a time and a place. There is a distinct difference between unruly/disorderly conduct and infringement of rights. Oppression is never a good answer. Seems he missed that point at the academy.
As for the ALL cops are bad stance that seems to be prevalent here, not all cops are bad. Everyone needs to remember, they put their pants on one leg at a time just like we do. I see quite a few on here where the people were out of control and could not be persuaded otherwise. It is a use of, in most cases, non deadly force that I would rather see than a head wound or broken arm.

The new x26 just came out and studies have shown that there is absolutely no difference in your heart rate between when you get tazed and when your not. A taser actually has less amps than a Christmas tree bulb. a taser has .0076 amps. Those are what kill you and cause heart problems. a house socket has 16 amps.

This guy is going to win a lawsuit, but the cop that assaulted him is not going to paid anything. The tax payers of that city will have to pay the bill, legal fees, settlement, and whatever else. @commonsenseisgone1 As a paramedic, I can tell you first hand, tasing a patient delays all O.R. surgeries and most E.R. procedures as it raises the bodies core temp as well as elevates white blood cell count drastically. As with everything in life, there is a time and a place. There is a distinct difference between unruly/disorderly conduct and infringement of rights. Oppression is never a good answer. Seems he missed that point at the academy.

As for the ALL cops are bad stance that seems to be prevalent here, not all cops are bad. Everyone needs to remember, they put their pants on one leg at a time just like we do. I see quite a few on here where the people were out of control and could not be persuaded otherwise. It is a use of, in most cases, non deadly force that I would rather see than a head wound or broken arm.

The new x26 just came out and studies have shown that there is absolutely no difference in your heart rate between when you get tazed and when your not. A taser actually has less amps than a Christmas tree bulb. a taser has .0076 amps. Those are what kill you and cause heart problems. a house socket has 16 amps.
