I thing mosely is right. Gangsta rap is not the same as Hip Hop. I dont listen to either, but I can still see that. Im more of a metal/screamo fan myself (i.e. Alesana, From Autumn to Ashes, August Burns Red). I will say that for about 3 years of my life I listened to the gangsta rap and eventually I just grew sick of it and had to move on. No more Eminem, 50 cent, the game, nas, or Project Pat for me.
