I passed up a great 60s console (Zenith) from the Salvation Army a couple of weeks ago. I tested it out and it worked great (rare for a thrift shop). I finanlly went back today and it was gone! I was upset, but lesson learned. You're right, I'm over digital and I'm glad I saved most of my good LPs. I have a very good newer turntable/receiver, but I'm going to search like crazy for something like you have. It sounds great and it looks wonderful! Thanks for posting.
@cosmojay Thank you for the comment! I am sorry to hear that you missed out on a Zenith console at your Salvation Army thrift store. I have come across some good ones from time to time at thrift shops, so don't lose hope on finding another. Who knows, you may find one that you like better. Good luck to you!

Lovely. I'm a Gltichy Electronic Musician, but I bought a couople of old Zenith Consoles recently and I now spend far too much time trawling the salvation army shops and consignment shops for old Vinyl. Nothing sounds quite like them and it makes me smirk to see people buying cd's. Good luck, dont sell it !
man, you can really hear those vaccum tubes kick on!

@cullyvan Thanks for the comments! I spend too much time in the thrift shops vinyl hunting myself. It is a fun hobby though!

Wow Billy Vaughn did a great job of In the Mood... sounds great on your Zenith... even before the recap!

@75capriceconvertible You know I have Glenn Miller's version of this song as well, but I think I like Billy Vaughn's better. Thanks for the comment!

Fortunately since then, I have had some work done on it. I have one newer video, but figured I'd keep this one up to show my progression.
