I have a question about bfbc2.

Today my teamate was putting down AT mines. So i went and shot it cuz i wanted a new gun, i used the f 2000. So that AT mine blew up and there was 2 more near there. Later that game i got 2 random f 200 kills and a i unloked V smoke .

Can you explain?

Slugs're terrific, slap it on a Saiga and you have yourself a somewhat crude equivalent to a semi automatic battle rifle. It isn't overpowered in the slightest though.

USAS 12 with extended magazines and slugs is a great med-close range combat setup, I recommend using it as an Assault sometime.

SMG sniping pisses me off as well, how the fuck can I get outgunned at med range by some kid using an Acog PP200 and I'm using an M14. Really Dice? It's bad enough with the lack of Aussie servers.

I actually tried this out yesterday after seeing this video and was very impressed by the outcome. (Used it towards the end of a Rush round) The range is decent but not too far and you do definitely have to lead the shot if they are moving.

I would say its a TINy bit Over powerd. TBH I get sniped buy SMG's at the disstance im sniping at >:( Not to mention the M-60 or the ww2 pistol. Oh well they are getting patched :D Can anyone add you too play?

Sure, Sucks you guys don't have servers there. I wonder how many copies of the game get sold there. They updated their servers recently which means they have some old ones somewhere. Id get a thread going on the BFBC 2 web forums about it and I really don't see why they couldnt use the old servers in places that need them. Old server is better than none.

Its just a screw up with the server it really did not go to 0. I get it all the time when getting on even after games where i get really high scores.

my opinion on the slugs is that they're fair, even a saiga or usas-12 with slugs in hardcore isn't going to kill as fast as lets say, the m14.

Exactly, it pisses people off still though. I destroyed this team of guys with the NS and took 3 bases in a matter of 7 minutes. Soon after they resorted to rockets and noob tubes to kill because I was dropping them like flies. Unrealistic is a sniping with a PP2000 or mini uzi.

i agree with the skill thing, aiming with that smaller reticule could easily make long range shots difficult.

it seems more than possible to use shottys with the slugs but i cant figure out how to play it with the regular shots

I haven't come across this yet but from what i saw in the video it seems pretty good. Not really a big fan of the shotguns in this game, much prefer the engineer class myself.

Not even close. If they were the same the first guy I shot at would have died. 1187s require no aim and would hit anything within a 100 yards in front of you. Shottys with slugs require you to put the crossshair directly on them or where they are going to be and fire. If you put it on someone and they are moving and you fire its not gonna hit them.

Search shotgun slugs on youtube and you can see what I mean if anyone doubts this is possible and did not grow up around guns. 200 yards is not unrealistic at all and with the size of the hollow point round its gonna kill you on the spot.

I love the shotguns. I've been hooked on them for weeks now. They rape people in hardcore mode. I use the shotgun with the Assault class for unlimited ammo. Since you have to be somewhat close range, I usually rape tanks with C4. Nothing more satisfying than a multi kill with C4.

A slug is no different than a bullet except its like 10 times bigger. You die by 2 bullets from most guns in hardcore so its not unrealistic at all.

Depends on my mood really, it can be fun but it can suck as well. I like it for sniping or long range sneaky type of mood. If I want to just run and spray I go with core.

It sucks when the whole other team is hid out sniping though or using rocket launchers constantly. Just be careful and sneaky and find new ways around and in and it can be fun.

when I played shotguns were the least of my worries,used to be worried about other snipers,this shotty looks like the akimbo(forget the name)shotguns that were fixed in mw2 with a patch,never really used the shotties on bfbc2 but that looks overpowered.

The akimbos 1887's in MW2 fired a spray of buckshot and accuracy was not necessary. You could fire from the hip and hit people in or out of your crosshair 100 yards away.

This is using Slugs instead of shot. Its a solid shotgun round which is way way larger than your average bullet. Slugs are accurate for quite a long range as well and would litterally rip you in half.
