I just came across your video and would love to own one of these. My Mom has a digital micro and it's horrible. Doesn't talk, but that's not the real problem I have with it. I can't even figure out what function I'm performing most of the time. DO you know where to purchase the LG Cobolt Speech Master in the states? THank you for any assistance.
@mrissamusica Hi Allison, thank you for your comment. If you google 'Cobolt systems ltd' you should be able to find their webpage. I believe they also have an Amazon shop. I am not sure if they ship to the US, but I think you could always drop them an e-mail. :)
@DJHey20 ours lasted way more than that... with us it lasted +/- 18 months, and it belonged to someone before us for a while as well. The door sensor got a bit funny by the end... but other than that no complains :) We don't have 'Rupert' anymore, we got a smaller microwave now. We surely miss his voice 'tho! :)
@urieltapia17 Before you make any more uninformed comments, please google: White LG Cobalt Speechmaster. Perhaps in the US you may not be familiar with appliances adapted for the visually impaired.
WOW ! Super annoying !

Now that I think about it, this microwave might be very useful for me. Maybe I'll look into it more.

Oh, that's cool.
Have you been blind since birth? Or did you lose your vision at a young age?
DJHey20 1 year ago
@DJHey20 I'm not blind, but my flatmate has blind relatives and that's how we ended up with this microwave :)

@Noryale we have one of these at school

I thought this microwave would be good for me, since I'm blind.
But then I found out they stop working a year after you've purchased them.
So I use a regular microwave with Braille labels on the buttons.

A microwave with a British accent... why I never.

Well... blind British deserve it.
Thanks for commenting, made me giggle!
