he should keep progressing with velvet revolver, he sounds like the PERFECT rock n roll voice on every velvet song and it would give slash and the rest of the guns n roses guys a band to be in
I believe this song played in the credits of the movie 'Bug'. I had SUCH a hard time finding this song as it was listed as 'Learning to Drive' by Scott Weiland.
man i forgot all about this album with all the hype on the new STP album! this album is kinda a guilty pleasure tho and would never reccomend it to a friend haha
My brother worked for Scott. Hes a very odd man. He had a closet full of lord of the rings merchandise, including Gandolph's sword that he personally affectionatly reffered to as "the big fucker". My brother got fired because Scott thought he was an undercover police officer.
@octobermadison don't believe me if you don't wanna, but yea, I'm telling the truth. And thats just 1 of 100 odd stories he has about working with Scott
@MimeTime111000 oh im not doubting it dude,,,i mean scott seems like a unique character like most frontman out there with crazyass stories......except that is what makes him him..
Forgive me for forgetting the title, but this song sounds alot like the one on 12 bar Blues. What's it called? Lady On The Rooftop. I know I'm wrong. This song is freaking amazing.
why doesnt he do the stp rock anymore...like grunge rock...thats wat he was best at and still is...now his voice is different and all...still love him tho
idk why i always gotta explain but this is temporary
this is his solo stuff
to me its really almost as good as stone temple but off course stp sounds bettter and he doesn't sound different he sounds exactly theasme is just the style gas changed just ne glad tumbaland didn't produce this one
When you are an artist, you understand that what you express is an expression of the evolution of your soul and spirit. Good artists evolve and grow. If you like one dimensional artists then Scott is not your man. God is an incredible every evolving person and artist. Some of you guys need to stop wanting one dimensional art from an ever evolving person. You have a CD that captured what he was 15 years ago. Go look at the snapshot, thats what it there for.

sooooooo true thanx for that people needs to hear that...but yeah i don't think it worked for Chris cornell though lmao...but yeah and this is an old song old old but he re released it and changed the name
Thank you for being kind. Scott is just one of those guys who are realy gifted and stuck with it and happened to take his gift and go on a sweet journey with it. He is truly incredible.
weiland is the best frontman, so underrated but that's cool, cause he won't become commercial and only the people who knows will estimate him and his fantastic music that's what happened with 12 bar blues
"keeping up with the joneses" is a common phrase used to say that you are trying to be like every other family. That you are trying to be like everyone else.
This song is really trippy! If anyone remember's the original STP version of this song..it's a little different in some parts but most of it sounds the same. I like this version too though!
Sounds like STP and Tom Waits had a baby.

Awesome stuff!!! I'm a huge STP/ Weiland fan and although I was not super impressed with 12 bar blues, I absolutely love this album

I agree. I m completely in love with all of his STP/VR stuff, but thought the 23 Bar Blues was just horrible. It was just too out of character.
