  • @phil9079

The same for me , i wanna learn it , but the only way how to learn it , is to go in a club lawl. I just got in Olympia , and i learn like alot of things + i can do them just in 1 lesson :D Try that , or just try it at late evening , or really early in the morning.

  • She seems like a mean gym teacher

  • Just recently learned how to move just like the guy in the red. I feel like i have soo much more freedom on the ice and not stuck goin only forwards.

  • It's a bit difficult when you go backwards on a skating rink where everyone skates. For me, there's always too much traffic to learn. I live in belgium so we have less skating rinks here...

  • Yeah we have a little kiddie size outdoor rink here where i live, It gets ver y crowded on weekends to the point where you almost cant realy move. Weekdays however there is hardly any on the ice so there is alot more room.

  • @phil9079 You should take a hockey development class - where these things are being taught.

  • @southernstar7 I've done that. But I retired because I didn't have a driver. I was 14 then and couldn't go alone. It was too late on the evening and too far away. 3 years later I made a comeback for 1 training to see if I can still make it but I couldn't follow so I gave up. I wanted to make a 2nd comeback with eventually a fitnessprogramme but they discovered scoliosis in my back. So no more hockey for me then. That was it. Now I play for fun sometimes. I can already master the scooptrick a bit

  • @phil9079 you can always use inline skates

  • @MrDking1225 I played inlinehockey, lol. Forgot to say. Never played icehockey, I admit that I'm not that tough. I don't wanna get checked or something. I also never played a game actually. Always trainings just for fun because I needed something on friday evenings to set my mind on...

  • @phil9079 Have someone skate forward in front of you giving you directions to guide you through the crowd on the rink.

  • @phil9079 its easier for me to skate backwards than forward. It feels alot smoother for some reason

  • @phil9079 I live in Belgium to! I know for me there is like always to much traffic on the rink!!

  • @Sailormoonwalk: really? where? I live in antwerp/merksem

  • @phil9079 hey i found this to with my local rink. but i found if you go on weekdays during average school/work hours its almost empty. or early in the morning if your local rink allows this.

  • @lexalolsicnh our local rink is going away :( see for football and tennis everything goes well and everything CAN, and suddenly for other sports like icehockey or something they CANNOT? that's just crazy, I'm really dissapointed that our local ring is going away :(

  • @phil9079 Get that alot here too. It's so useful to have my ice hockey experience, so I can stop in under a CM. :p

  • @DieselGypsyFilms I understand that, certainly when you're a canadian, it's needed to have some experience, I'm proud of canada actually, it's beautifull for nature, it's a hockeycountry, if you compare it against our country, pf here it's only soccer and cycling

  • @phil9079 I'm not Canadian. :P

  • @DieselGypsyFilms ow oops, hahaha, lol. I thought that because you had the canadian flag as a picture of your profile. From where are you then?

  • @phil9079 Nah, I'm just a fan of Canada. Im from Ibiza and switch between Uk and Ibiza

  • @DieselGypsyFilms me too, I wanna live there actually, the nature is totally wicked over there and the icehockey is wicked too offcourse, the people are also friendly over there and they got a good goverment, we Belgians have the laziest goverment in the world...

  • @phil9079 same here. Our Government raised the university fees up. there now triple what they were so after a 3 year Uni course, I'll have a minumum of £27k Debt. Im going to try get into New Zealand as soon as I'm old enough. Maybe Canada but it's cold there :p

  • @DieselGypsyFilms LOL Canada? I'm $38K in debt from my Bachelor of Arts that I finished a couple years ago. Add to that the fact that it's 2.5-5x more expensive for international students, and you might want to re-think that. But if money's not an issue, it's not any colder in Vancouver than it is in London, so you're welcome to come haha.

  • Makes sence too. Cause in the weekends nobody has to work or anything and they take out the kids the the skatingrink.

And in the week, for example wednesday, there's less traffic. Still children and so on cause they don't have school, but less then in the weekends. Going in the week itself it's offcourse better then wednesday. But if you have school...That's why I want to live in canada! They have hockeyschools there and here it's only soccer and tennis and cycling -_- which is boring

  • @phil9079 - hockey schools are not cheap.

when you have parents trying to pay bills all the time, they are not able to afford it. i learned to skate without this shit and ive never played in a league. i played school hockey for one season and it was the greatest thing ever, i wish more kids could afford equipment and leagues.

  • @mach1rider hmmm perhaps you're right, I have forgotten that. But if you have the money and equipment, then you can go to a hockeyschool. There ain't no hockeyschool in Belgium. That's what I wanted to say. If you love hockey, then this is certainly not the country where you should live...

  • @helljumper24 right? i feel the same way

  • lol she loks super old and she can move it is awsome

  • LOL.
